There a two types of defect runs, literal god or little lad on the struggle bus and it can even switch multiple times a run which it is. Shoutout chaos btw unsung hero
It’s bananas to me how much more difficult this game is than other games. I have almost 8k hours in my favorite game and I know every single thing. There’s 120 heroes so there’s probably. 5 that I don’t know perfectly. Maybe 10 that I don’t remember the whole passive. But I know every single opponent I face. I know how the player is gonna play. I know how the early games gonna go based on the enemy picks. Based on our picks. First blood. How my teammates chat. The items they buy. I know exactly the range of every auto and ability. The cast times. The post fire times. The delay on the pre fire. I can instantly tell if it’s going to be an hour long game or a short game. There’s so many things I know with such certainty because of my 8k hours over a decade of playing…. For spire it almost feels like there’s never a 100% correct choice for any decision. To hear someone with as much play time as I have in another game still doesn’t understand every single outcome and decision is wild. Especially because I know in general Baalor is smarter than I am by 100x. Shows how much more simple my game is and how much harder spire is.
Timestamps for when Baalor picks up the cards in the thumbnail (Capacitor x4): [Updated for the new thumbnail. Original thumbnail was Echo Forms.] Capacitor #1: (1:14:37) (Floor 39 Combat) (The other three copies of Capacitor are not added to the base deck.) Original comment and timestamps: Echo Form #1: (32:03) (Act 1 Boss) Echo Form #2: (1:02:13) (Act 2 Boss) I think the enemies in the Spire are seeing double this run!
@@lirimiri7034 He always does XD It's hilarious, 'cause I click the video when it uploads, but see it later on, so my window is even called in some way and the video title had change XD
1:04:36 runic dome is great design for being a noob trap while also being a relic that can be used well if the player knows how the mob ai works/is strong enough to not care
1:04:09 Related feature request for StS2: Let players click on the enemies' intent to see their complete move cycle (like the Beastiary mod shows) inline and in context. Here's why: 1. The intents system made the game more fun by giving players a clearer way to strategize for the current turn, than if the enemies' intents were not shown. 2. The expanded intents system I propose would similarly make the game more fun by giving players a clearer way to strategize around _multiple_ turns, without having to memorise move sets, and without having to install mods. (I have a mirror feature request on the Steam Community StS2 General Discussions forum, in case this is a feature you'd like to see, and you'd like to +1 my request)
Noticing the negative over the positive is deeply ingrained in our biological mechanisms. You're not gonna watch the sunset when the bushes are rustling. It can be overcome but you have to understand why it's happening.
Trying to think about how the runic dome would work in the boardgame you would have to roll it in a hidden area from the dome player and the die relics would trigger at the end of the player turns. Changes the whole game just because they took it
I always take Runic Dome if I have Defect and never with anyone else. For me, Defect has far fewer choices each turn than any of the other 3. Watcher and Silent in particular need to be tactical. Ironclad can create a block empire but still needs to whittle. Meanwhilie, Defect often whittles and blocks and kills without knowing intents making any difference whatsoever.
31:15 thinking about this, I can think of 3 events (Faces of Change, Shining Light, Upgrade Shrine) and a relic (Whetstone) to upgrade it, plus probably 5 total rest sites on a lucky path, and potentially more if you get Wing Boots before floor 6, so at least 9. 1:07:30 Holy f***ing brick!
Its because Go For The Eyes only debuffs an enemy that is attacking and Baalorlord used the card on the sentry that was not attacking him. So the debuff did not apply.
That last one wasn’t attacking, so the go for the eyes was only the damage part. Although the card was lit up, it only informs you if it’s possible to activate its special weak effect at that given moment (in this case middle sentry only)

He changed the thumbnail😮

Me see infinite, me click
14:50 Don't judge yourself based on the outcome, but on whether the choice you made was the best possible one.
Wow, this run was really good. I thoroughly enjoyed this video :)

As much as we love Albert, the final battle MVP was really our RNJeezus white noise
Albert's great. It's a strong enough card to solo the heart, yet unreliable enough that it isn't overpowered.

I see 2 hours, I already know it is a frozen eye run
Meanwhile Xecnar just had an 8 hour run because of Frozen Eye.
Expert piloting there, during act 2. Especially the masked gang and the gremlin leader fights. I would have died 100 times over .
Defect really felt incapacitated during the first half of the slime boss fight
3 Capacitors into 4 Loops was ridiculous.
As of late when I see titles like this, I tend to imagine Baalorlord slowly growing scales all over him... to infinity!
Man was saved by white noise. This is why he loves this card so much LOL
Would the cards finesse, and flash of steel be a good infinite? And with the fan relic thingy it could scale against the heart right?
14:55 is actual life advice

Can I say.. Defect is my FAVORITE and seeing this Defect flood has been a RENAISSANCE. Thank you 🙏🏽

Thank you for sharing these
Oh no! The table! It’s broken!
Is there an argument for peace pipe being very good with Watcher starting deck?
Where's the infinite?
0:00 Sensing some foreshadowing

1:07:30 Holy f***ing brick!
Molten egg before searing blow is another.
Shop early into prismatic shard and getting a lesson learned is theoretically more upgrades
Whats the defects favorite side dish when eating indian?
Nano-bread. No refunds.
Bosses in shambles
21:57 why didn’t it lose an artifact??

Wait so is he trying to get many conservatives runs with the same character?
Changing both the title and thumbnail of videos after upload is becoming very frustrating.
The run was interesting until he picked up frozen eye. Just my attention real fast after he did. Dragged on horribly after that.
Adds are out of control. I have to unsub
I've gone to use NewPipe for my daily Baalor vids
