So sad to see the show go, it's meant so much to so many people, so much that can't be put into words. Anacostia was such an amazing character that really grew with those around her, such as finally accepting Scylla. The unit has shown so much growth as well since season 1, they will forever hold a place in the switches' hearts.

I think they purposely left it with an open ending so it can continue to the next chapter smoothly once it gets pickup by a different streaming site or get renewed by the effort and demand of the fans

I have never watched a show where the casting was SO good. They made me care about ALL the characters. I literally could not see any of them die. Anacostia played pivotal in everyone's lives and it was sad to see her go. I love all these characters and need a season 4 #savemotherlandfortsalem

Do same world but different cast!!! They can reenact the lore they had in the show!
Too many seasons is just about as bad as too little seasons. When a show gets longer than 5 or 6 seasons, it gets repetitive and starts to get boring (Ahem The Walking Dead, The 100, Gray's Anatomy, Game of Thrones are all very prime examples). The show really should get another season and then end it there. But 7 is wayyyy too many.
@@mamagherbear7082 I honestly would’ve settled for maybe one or two more seasons because yeah you're right too many seasons can become repetitive and they can only have but so many conflicts and enemies.
The moment when you find out Jem was a steward of the first song was so emotional. I felt there was such a close parallel to how many people were taken from nations in Africa to be disregarded, dismissed, and used. The grief that Abigail voices to losing her heritage has such a depth to it and that depth translated into that moment when you see just how much devastation - not just to individuals but to civilization as a whole - was brought on by people enslaving other people.

Im a 59 year old man and im not a softy by no means by i can remember seeing the first promo of the show and what really got me to want to even watch it was the Amarican flag that unfered .
I'll never forget it .
Just came home from hip replacement surgery there's alot of bed rest after that and i see the preview of the show and right from the start of seeing that i was hooked .
I had something to look forward to every week at 8 o clock central time .
To me thats my connection to the show it help me out alot .
Why am i telling you this i don't know .

This ending didn't have many scenes and left many questions, we wanted more Raylla, I hope this is just the end of the season that makes sense and not the end of the series, but thank you for all the beautiful parts of the series that you made for us.🥺🙌🏻
The whole season felt ever so slightly rushed. But its because they had planned the story out for more seasons and suddenly had to find a way to wrap it up in one while still trying to satisfy fans. I don’t think we would have gotten the wedding this season if it hadn’t been the last. I think we would have gotten even more time with the couples for their relationships to develop. I think the Camarilla would have been built up even more into an even bigger threat. Even just one more season would have given them enough time to round things out a bit more and go more in depth and take time on the important things. I think they did an incredible job with what time they had and also with various restrictions like covid and taylors accident.

@@squishy_moo her facial injury was while filming something before motherland started. This season she was in a car accident and got hit by a truck. Thats why they put her in the mycelium for most of the season. Her sister acted as a body double for some scenes and Taylor filmed the rest when she was back.
This finally made me cry because of anacostia and made me jump from the seat of my car for everything else 😅😅😅. It was an excellent series something that's not expected because we're accustomed to the traditional witches shows but this it was different in a beautiful and perfect way. I'll say that I wouldn't mind more season BUT is better to end it this way because what it can happened is that others platforms can screw up this unique series that Eliot made. 😆😅🤣. Hello, we are not asking for the 20 seasons of gray anatomy, but why only 3 seasons of motherland? It is a series with a theme that everyone likes. Please we need more seasons of this series..

Thank you all for the 3 years of my life that you’ve given me. Watching the promo back in 2019 was what drew me into Motherland Fort Salem I’m the first place and this show truly gave me hope during that first spring of the COVID-19 pandemic. Biggest thanks to Taylor, Ashley, Amalia and Jessica for truly being the best comfort cast I found, for giving me the love of Raylla and the amazing Bellweather Unit. I am so grateful for the 3 seasons of Motherland, this is honestly my favorite show EVER! There is so much that can still be done and explored with it so PLEASE renew it for a 4th season. I don’t understand how or why there are so many mediocre shows with not even half the fan base Motherland has that get like 6 seasons or more.

You could definitely tell each forehead kiss with Alder had with the Bellweather Unit was different:
Tally’s moment was the longest-There’s genuine love there (Talder Forever). All of the moments the had in the past and in the finale…they’re endgame.
Ruelle’s-A moment she probably rarely ever had with her own mother; you can even see her leave her eyes closed just a second longer, to savor that moment.
Abigail-She finally got the validation from the person she looked up to and aspired to be; that respect she had for Alder was reciprocated back to her. You could tell with the smile on her face.
I may just be clowning, but that’s how I interpreted the scene.
This entire series was such an emotional rollercoaster for me. The artistry of this was so beautiful i couldnt stop crying

Yeah, I love this show but they fell into the trap of sidelining the main characters' love interests and using them only to advance the main characters' storylines and development. Scylla and Adil were powerful in their own rights but never got to shine.
i am really appalled that this show is ending in just 3 season. Its not enough. I feel Elliot has more stories to tell. Please @hulu please we are begging you please pick up the show and renew it for few more seasons.

The first thing i thought about is how witches could terraform other planets with their abilities lol also they could move the mother to other planets in order for her to make things better on them.

How I wish it still has 2 more seasons to go, it has a lot of potential. Scylla stole the show- Amalia is just an amazing actress which was sidelined only at the end. She should have given more scenes to work on. Still great chemistry with Taylor no one can question that. Anacostia , Khalida, Edwin and Batan (original Batan) the actors portraying them always gave memorable and great performances. Season one is the best , Syclla as a spree suits her best and it was a weak unclimactic forgettable ending. But still one of the best underrated TV series. Nothing beats Amalia and Taylor. Thank you , it was a fun watch. Hard to find to watch next.
I’m incredibly devastated and sad to see this show depart, but I never regretted watching a single moment of it. This show had spoke volumes to me, and it contained such originality and depth that kept me drawn and waiting patiently for more. I wish everyone made it out and lived the best life they could ever possibly achieve, but i am fine with this ending instead. I’m hoping that this show will get picked up by another streaming service and it can be renewed, but hope can only do so much. I am incredibly thankful for this show.
This is the most recent best supernatural show to go since the Vampire Diaries era. Definitely need more shows like this. Witches with hand to hand combat skills was awesome to see.
Motherland fort salem will be always my favorite show and I will always Miss all character this show...I hope that someday they will make a special episode of Raelle and Scylla's happy life as a wifes living on lighthouse that wasn't in the last episode.

Heartbroken this may truly be our last moments with these wonderful characters in this wonderful world they created. Wish this wasn’t the end but at least it was a beautiful ending and did justice to each of the characters. Love that the bellwethers were able to recover some of their stolen history.

This was a beautiful ending and I am hoping that Sidney plus or hu gives us more either in the form of a spinoff or a movie like firefly did with serenity.

Motherland: Fort Salem is without a doubt the most god damned emotional best of the best TV show Freeform has came up with during quarantine I stayed up late watching every episode and wished for more seasons it was a pleasure and honor watching it from being 19 to 21
And now we wait for a spin-off

My God… i will missed the show so much. The gratitude i had to the people behind it and to the actors portrayed each of their character were fantastic. The Love of Raelle and Scylla will always be remembered, am so hooked with their relationship so deeply. The mother and daughter relationship, the friendships, its all there am literally devastated its the End. But we never know lets keep our hope and Faith. I will miss them so much, but luckily we can still view their videos to remember. The Finale was great just sad Anacostia died but certainly the Love and goodness she had shared with the people around her means a lot to them. I felt the sacrifice what she had done was extra ordinary in a real life. Thank you All and miss you All❤️❤️❤️

Anacostia’s death hit so hard. I will admit that I instantly teared up. Watching him lose her was so sad! Alder crying out for her daughter, so heartbreaking ! I loved that Abigail was a steward since she was saying it felt so different when she called the storm. I wish we got to see more! Loved the serie and wished it didn’t have to end

Really my only complaint about the finale is the lack of Raylla moments. I know they had rush things and cut corners to finish the more important storylines. But we didn't even get a kiss at all this episode. Also, why didn't Scylla get to go on the helicopter with everyone else?

Scyllas role in season 3 is to be raelle’s caregiver hahahaha. She carried raelle like literally carried the whole time. The ending is open ended and very anticlimactic.
Anacostia death is still surreal and heartbreaking.
And raylla is in their ducky farm with witch babies, and adigail went and had their honeymoon at the beach
This show was incredible. The casting, the inclusion, dark and real issues - hoping this isn’t the end but damn we had a good run.
