What great visibility! A couple of great dives. I appreciate your narration. Would love to hear even more comments about what you were seeing and thinking as you went through your dive, and identifying some of the other 'shootable' fish that come into view of your camera. I am learning a lot from other divers like yourself right now and beginning to implement it into my own diving. And for those who are not spearfishermen and just watching because they love the underwater, having you point out various kinds of fish would make it more enjoyable and educational. Thanks!
first off you bagged that spiny lobster barehands?!? my man!!😅 for me it was a self-correcting error!!. Second, bro your bright bands was the perfect too to get the AF to come check you out no need to chase....last hold your breathe when you're approaching, the bubbles scares your fish. oh one more, switch to the TUSA scooter...it leaves your hands free. Enjoy!!
Looks like the eddy is moving south as well as the better vis. Our vis this weekend has gotten worse. So maybe you'll get better vis as the season moves on.
I have 2 comments 1st- what are the leash like things you wear on your ankle, I also scuba dive out of Wilmington and haven’t seen those before. 2nd- you said that you wear shark shield to protect against sharks. What is that?
It is a battery strapped to your ankle on a 6' wire lead. If it touches you a certain way, it shocks you with a pulse. It sends out electrical waves. Sharkbanz is a completely different product. I used to use sharkbanz forever ago. I couldn't tell it did anything.
I'd like it more if the company didn't go out of business and the screen/controller didn't break on the 12th dive, while never actually being slammed against anything other than the water at first entry. I bought a screen protector from a guy in Australia for my 2nd one. Lets see if it breaks as easily. I've got the new Lefeet P1 XR coming at the end of the month too.
I was quickly scrolling through the video thinking, 'Spearfishing with a scuba tank isn't really spearfishing.' I paused at 21:46 just to witness someone missing a sleeping lionfish with a pole spear tfifteen times in a row. Not exactly impressive.
I agree, not impressive. The worst spear I've used, yet. Hopefully I'll be getting better shots tomorrow with my regular spear and a full box of lionfish.

I'll try that on some future videos. I figured people didn't really want to hear me speak so much and rather enjoy the views.

Man that is great viz. I wish we had that here in Myrtle Beach. Our viz has gone down a lot lately. Great fishing.

I see the other diver is wearing a shark Shield Freedom 7. How does he like it and has it worked for him.
It's worth its weight in gold. Especially if you're not sending your fish to the top, or you're killing lionfish.
Did i miss How deep you were at? it seemed like it took a while to get to bottom. Cool video
The Normannia is approximately 100’-115’. Slight to moderate current.

You answered #2 with #1 :) It's a shark shield by ocean guardian. Very well worth the money. I've got at least a few videos on here proving it.
@@carolinaseahornets does it give off an electromagnetic pulse like the sharkbanz or just a deterrent
