Most of my friends spent a lot in their 20s and 30s. They went on frequent vacations, bought homes that were at the top of their budget, etc. We paid off my student loans and lived solely on my husband's income, including buying our home, banking and investing all my income all those years. We started really broke with kids young, but only would live on one income no matter what. My husband died suddenly when I was 41. I suddenly had 7 kids (2 we had taken in and were raising) to raise alone, and weeks after he died, my mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer. She was self employed, so her bills suddenly fell on me too. I was in shock, barely functioning, with a dying parent and griweving kids. Thank God we had all my income invested. Even policies take time to receive. When they say "safety net", it truly is saving you from crashing to the ground.

thanks for acknowledging that when you have no support, esp in your early 20s, it is almost inevitable to go into debt and really just survive day-to-day. now in my late 20's, im finally starting to get out of those mistakes I also made. made me feel better to hear a successful career woman say she had to go through the same things!
Just wanted to let you know I found you through you sleep training youtube video you did when you sleep trained Nikash. And then I discovered skincare and have become obsessed because of you channels. Like I went from just a moisturizer at night and day (like Aveeno) and using makeup wipes to a whole 8-10 step routine, including double cleanse!

On another note, you said you love skincare influencers who are educating other on TH-cam, but do you also have an opinion on the dangers this can create when young audiences believe anything a skincare “enthusiast” tells them and markets to them (HYRAM) even though they have no doctorate and no real credentials. There advice is sometimes wrong and can lead to more skincare complications for their audiences who are just taking in every word they say as facts and not going to a real dermatologist.
He says hes not a professional at the beginning of every video. Hes probably the most transparent skinfluencer out there. Theres only so much we can hold other people responsible for and kids need to learn to think for themselves. Luckily hes probably the biggest advocate for skin minimalism and sensitive skin on TH-cam.
Could you please make a video on the benzene contaminant found on a lot of sunscreens? At least informing your audience, as I believe there are a lot of people following you that might now have been aware. You recommend sunscreens all the time and believe as a skincare influencer, you should take the responsibility to inform as this is a serious issue that just came to light. Dr Dray made an awesome video, but you also have your own audience.
