The first season did tend to be a little too much sunshine and rainbows for my preference but that didn't stop me watching it on Netflix. A Megatron who learned from his mistakes, switched sides (but not because he believed in the Autobot cause - at first, it was to return the Allspark to Cybertron to save their dying world) and has a sense of humor, a Texan Wheeljack, and the Maltobots having all the curiosity and stubbornness of children with the courage of warriors makes for a refreshing change of pace.

I know this show is made for kids and I personally get ticked off how humanity in the movies and IDW comics hunt down Autobots who fight and die for Earth. Heck, the Autobots are even forced at times to choose between saving Earth or Cybertron. However, I feel the show goes a little far in portraying this situation. For one thing, it can feel like the Decepticons are too sympathetic. GHOST is imprisoning all of them without mercy, but when you think about it, how many of these guys would be locked up if the humans were being fair to them? Megatron, Starscream, Shockwave, Soundwave, these guys lead an invasion of Earth. Earth was caught in an alien war for decades because of the Decepticons. In the IDW Comics, we see despite how much Megatron redeems himself, he’s still done too many terrible things to avoid maximum punishment by the rest of the universe. While I get annoyed with how humans hate all Transformers indiscriminately, I also understand this hatred is because of the war humanity never asked for, a war that likely killed many people. When you think about it, stories like Mandroid’s probably are very common. We even see similar collateral damage happen in the G1 cartoon. Honestly I think a second season should really work on having the Decepticons undergo redemption arcs. Show humans who underwent tragedies like Mandroid’s to show how widespread the scars of war are. I get why people compare the way humanity treats the Transformers as being similar to what happens to immigrants and the LGBT community, but last time I checked, neither community once had a large portion of it bringing death and destruction to the rest of us. The Autobots deserve to be respected by humanity. The Decepticons have to work for it after what they did.

It's probably a good thing the seekers weren't there during this scene because if they were they'd likely end up like shockwave depleted of their energon, Starscream and the seekers were the ones who convinced the other decepticons to help the maltos and they were the ones who distracted Megatron both were essential points which greatly helped the terrans.

The only part i was frustrated with was how much could of been prevented if they had used there brains e.g. if Dorothy had taken out agent croft fully they would never of been controlled of if the autobot took the badges of the minute they knew ghost was a bunch of criminals or even if soundwave had moved.properly he wouldn't of been captured

It's probably a good thing the seekers weren't there during this scene because if they were they'd likely end up like shockwave depleted of their energon, Starscream and the seekers were the ones who convinced the other decepticons to help the maltos and they were the ones who distracted Megatron both were essential points which greatly helped the terrans.
@@ishashifar Imagine if the zombie-fied-cyborg beings called the Borg unexpectedly showed up behind Mandroid intent on assimilating and annihilating all who stand in their way. Even Autobots and Decepticons do not want to even mess with a heavily armed to the teeth Borg Cube, which so happens to be the primary vessel of the Borg Collective and is a truly formidable opponent that is a literal FLEE KILLER (As shown here: th-cam.com/video/D7KCb-O20Fg/w-d-xo.html BTW....
