If i remember right they had double what angels have because they give no magic damage reduction and instead being on 50% hp you have to be 80% hp with griffins. So if you want to have highest possible damage you can have on your cheri griffins are for you
I am level 57 with 6 stars cherie using princess team, here is my opinions: 1) The main reason why Cherie use angel VS griffon knight is because of the MDEF+ and bonus trigger of 50% hp above VS 80% hp above. 2) Skill: Shadow raid is not that useful, the reason is because when you attack 2 space away, your angel will not attack (unless you solider that attack 2 spaces away like bendit), but you need to level up your range unit and losing mobility (-2 speed). When you use the skill in close range, it has -30% attack damage reduction from hero, even though your solider (angle/griffon knight) attacks, just like you use archer unit to attack any unit in close range. Conclusion: The skill is situational. If you cannot 1 hit kill a unit, Cherie will lose her purpose and most likely die in an even level battle (pvp/pve) For Dragon master: solider - Angel; Skill - lightning + lightning speed + Legion (if you have healer) / Reinforcement. [LLL/LLR] *In late game, you still want to level up high master just for the completion class bonus and change back to dragon master* My normal combination: 1) Cherie (LLL) + Tiaris: passive healing light with Attack blessing (+30% atk -50% income damage), this combination can bring you to end game of almost any map 2) Cherie (LLR) + Liana: since my Cherie is 6 stars and wild princess is 2 CDs, Liana use again on Cherie after killing 2 units, that makes wild princess only have 1 CD left. I disagree about Shadow raid in PvP. Specifically: Shadow raid 1 distance attack with angels to kill a mage or healer under Guard, then get Wild Princess to make a 2nd move. Presumably, you already have an AoE team (like Shelfaniel + Angelina + Lana) since you have a 6* Cherie. However, not everyone has an AoE team. Thus, a Dragon Master Cherie who can assault enemies (healers or mages) under guard can win matches that would otherwise be lost.
Basically if you attack with shadow raid with angel in 1 space apart from enemy, damage deal 1.3 x your hero’s attack power only since angel is melee. If you attack with shadow raid in melee range range, damage deal 1.3 x 0.3 (damage reduction) x your hero’s attack power + angel’s attack power. *According to the test in Chinese server, Cherie has to kill all the soldiers + the hero even if she uses shadow raid in range, this skill does NOT attack the hero directly ignoring all the soldiers* Base on different situation, to provide maximum damage, if you have very good gears and confident that you can 1 hit kill a mage/healer + their soldiers with ONLY your hero’s attack power, use shadow raid. If your soldier unit’s can provide damage more than the 70% damage reduction due to close range to your hero, then use shadow raid.
I admit I've totally neglected her because I use Leon as my physical DPS. ^_^ I've been using my 9 Gate of Fate runs on other characters as a result. But this is definitely a good point!
I'm realllllly anxious and looking forward to your guide on elwin, I kbow you just pulled him, I got him last week, he really is a little hard to figure out, and I haven't upgraded his Lance class side enough to be able to tell, but I sis unlock the dark centurion early, just got them to level two, swapped my equip around, made him more defensive and I must say, pretty fun, tanks calv, beats Lance, sword hits through Lance but regen helps Get them back up, plus Leon clears the swords anyway, it's good sometimes on these big maps to have ledin with phalanx on one side and elwin on the other, I'm guessing his phalanx troops are still gonna be better, but until I get his barb skill I can't accurately measure the chip damage, I feel like this needs to be talked about as rune stones are limited, and also there training ground is limited in who you want to put in all the way on, sense ledin gets phalanx anyway, also on his defensive set, I had the heavy infantry at 5, and the masked maids at 5, and the heavy seems better, I thjbk the guardian inf is gonna be his best, you didn't touch on that, you said you were gonna go on masked maids, but for instance thunder dragon and just other things it's good to just have him alot tankier and his shine comes from stripping all the buffs off dragon. Like to hear your opinion, I have two sets of equip, one full moon I run masked maids, the other is hard rock and I run those with maids or Heavy , great vid by way
I actually prefer the Overlord Badge for the accessory. Debuffs are common and I love seeing a bunch of "invulnerable" pop ups when the enemy tries to hit me with all of the stat downs. Also, don't have to worry about getting stuck too far out due to mobility down.
It's definitely one of those best "PvP accessory" vs "PvE accessory" scenarios. Without any doubt, Overlord's Badge can be considered one of the best PvE ones. But for "Final" equipment, which is generally PvP focused, I would say Slayer's Emblem is the way to go.

In hindsight, it looks like I made a few assumptions in this video, because I assumed everyone had my feelings where Cherie is a PvP physical DPS character (vs Leon being the PvE end-game content one). I mean, Shadow Raid is really a PvP focused skill (for assassinating mages / healers through guard), and Wild Princess acts the same way (since you need to kill targets for it to activate). I suppose an argument could be made about Wild Princess letting Cherie kill 2 enemies in 1 turn, but it's still overall worse than Leon in most endgame PvE content (where things like Anikis and Dragons can't be one-shot).

Glory is the most F2P faction given a free unit carries that buff, so a lot of people are probably relying heavily on her for PvE content. One could also make the argument that it was possible to re-roll for Leon to get him cheaply for free, since he was on the first banner after all. In any case, certainly 90% of PvE can be handled with Cherie. I think it's the end-game ones, specifically Lv65 dragons and some of the Lv65 Anikis, that Cherie will really struggle (in helping you get that 1st clear. Once you have the Secret Realm Blessing she's great). As an interesting note, all the top ranking Princess / Legion players I know on Rocky Valley server also have Leon leveled up for clearing end-game content. With that said, for that 95% content I mentioned, I would also say Overlord badge is a nice to have, but also not required either. Certainly, very few people currently have Overlord Badge, yet most high level Legion players have most PvE content cleared (barring dragons / 65 Anikis). In the end, whether Overlord badge can even be said to be Cherie's "best PvE equipment" always comes down to how you use her. She really is one of those characters that isn't clear, and is very versatile with her accessory. Well. in the end, for the high ranking (i.e. S & SS) timeless trial missions, you will certainly want both a lv50 Slayer's Emblem & lv50 Overlord's Badge that you can swap in as needed. So maybe the answer should be: have copies of every SSR accessory? :D
If you get her to 4 star she’s super good in the stolen treasure realm because you can get her talent off twice in it (note I don’t have good aoe units so I use lots of melee units)

Based on wikigrisser cherie lvl 70 max attack in dragon master is 606. I mastered all classes and lvl 69. Max heart bond. Attack bond is lvl 9. 5 stars. My cherie attack stats is 560. What have i done wrong plz help
I’m just curious, do skills like Shadow Raid, Riposte, Plunder etc attack the hero character directly at times? Like as in a hidden effect that’s not explained. Because I swear a few time in the Timeless Trial map w/Diehardt (High Master), he would use a skill like one of the three and do damage directly to my Freya (or sometimes OHKO my mage), just swiping right past the soldiers only lowering their HP. Is there a skill that allows this? (I’m guessing it’s probably an NPC version for foes.)
Some skills do hit heroes directly. In fact, both Dietharte's "Calamity" and Cherie's "Shadow Raid" do state "Ignore Guard and attack enemy directly". So they ignore guard, and attack the hero directly for 1.3x damage, ignoring the soldiers.
@@carlospolk5033 You can generally plan to counter that. Skills like this is what makes the high level timeless trials take some thinking and planning to beat! Also, Shrine maidens for characters who can use them basically hard counters the skill. Granted, in PvP, Ragnarok equipped characters with that skill are a huge pain to deal with. But Lv50 SSR equipped characters can generally shrug it off anyways.

And luckily my Cherie has Ragnorok, Last Rites, Assault Helmet, and Slayer Emblem. So I have a few great SSRs. And thanks for the feedback. Very much appreciated.

While HP protects vs both, it is worse than DEF and MDEF facing their respective attacks. That is why you get DEF for lancers and infantry rather than HP. Cherie will face melee damage a lot more than magic damage, so DEF helps her more. Plus, angels reduce magic damage anyways

Her equipment doesn't really change. Except maybe twilight star for the accessory. And optionally Mortal Light for the helmet to stay at full HP to counter enemy twilight stars
On her gate of fate, it's the one where you have to kill Bern at the end and he has dark guards, I didn't knoe what was happening, I killed him 4 times and he came back to life, finally I let him kill himself and it ended lol.
You underestimate Judge Talisman. Did you forget Ledin is Templar class most of the time? That makes him holy, and generally has no weakness. Drop a Judge Talisman on your Cherie (or even better, on Elwin, so that he is strong both against Ledin's phalanxes and Ledin as a holy unit himself) giving her +12% dmg against him is no joke. You can then proceed to murder everyone else without interference from that pesky tank.
If you're talking PvP, at Silver I rank: - I never see Elwin in PvP anymore. His 3 movement is just terrible. - I've never seen anyone be able to 1-shot my Ledin with Cherie. Although I have seen a lot of Cheries suicide themselves while attacking my Ledin. The way to kill Ledin in PvP is with ranged attacks, or ignore him and go after the units he's guarding 1st with skills like shadow raid and such. You should never use a melee attacker against Ledin.
@@tr00Hlodvig Oh. Well. If you have Ragnarok and and around +25% ATK from your enchants, I can't imagine you failing to 1-shot a healer, even without Judge Talisman. You're better off getting another accessory that would be more helpful to Cherie. And if you can't 1-shot a healer with your main DPS, something is seriously. ^_^;
As with Leon, Rough Sea, since she's always attacking, and you want to reduce the damage she takes while increasing damage she deals :) Full Moon also works, for the +10% ATK / DEF values.

@@nigelse7049 I actually really like breeze if you have the enchant scrolls for it. Being able to potentially move 7 tiles is huge. However, enchants like Rough Sea are rarely used on heroes, so you may have a huge stock of them to use. I'm personally not a fan of meteor since it provides +7% crit rather than ATK/INT increase, but I can sorta understand for those who have lots of those scrolls (e.g. I have 323 SSR meteor scrolls and 969 SR ones).

Just getting her to 4 stars by doing her gate of fate daily, you can decrease the wild princess cooldown from 4 to 3-turn. Really helps in combat.

So how does a lvl 35 Cherie Have 489 basic attack before modifiers. I encountered 1 in arena and she single-handedly killed all other units.

Well you just said you're lv69 and ATK bond is at 9/10. Upgrade her to level 70, get the ATK bond to lv10, and see what her ATK value becomes :)

How is defense more valuable than hp, when defense only protects against physical damage & hp adds survivability against all damage?
Youre mostly gonna be having Angels with Cherie, which pretty much block magic anyways. Def would help not losing soldier when youre counter attacked
While HP protects vs both, it is worse than DEF and MDEF facing their respective attacks. That is why you get DEF for lancers and infantry rather than HP.
Cherie will face melee damage a lot more than magic damage, so DEF helps her more. Plus, angels reduce magic damage anyways

On her gate of fate, it's the one where you have to kill Bern at the end and he has dark guards, I didn't knoe what was happening, I killed him 4 times and he came back to life, finally I let him kill himself and it ended lol.
He has a ability on him that lasts like 3 or 4 turns, he cant be killed has a 2 turn cooldown to come back
You underestimate Judge Talisman. Did you forget Ledin is Templar class most of the time? That makes him holy, and generally has no weakness. Drop a Judge Talisman on your Cherie (or even better, on Elwin, so that he is strong both against Ledin's phalanxes and Ledin as a holy unit himself) giving her +12% dmg against him is no joke. You can then proceed to murder everyone else without interference from that pesky tank.
If you're talking PvP, at Silver I rank:
- I never see Elwin in PvP anymore. His 3 movement is just terrible.
- I've never seen anyone be able to 1-shot my Ledin with Cherie. Although I have seen a lot of Cheries suicide themselves while attacking my Ledin.
The way to kill Ledin in PvP is with ranged attacks, or ignore him and go after the units he's guarding 1st with skills like shadow raid and such. You should never use a melee attacker against Ledin.

@@tr00Hlodvig Oh. Well. If you have Ragnarok and and around +25% ATK from your enchants, I can't imagine you failing to 1-shot a healer, even without Judge Talisman. You're better off getting another accessory that would be more helpful to Cherie.
And if you can't 1-shot a healer with your main DPS, something is seriously. ^_^;

@@nigelse7049 I actually really like breeze if you have the enchant scrolls for it. Being able to potentially move 7 tiles is huge.
However, enchants like Rough Sea are rarely used on heroes, so you may have a huge stock of them to use.
I'm personally not a fan of meteor since it provides +7% crit rather than ATK/INT increase, but I can sorta understand for those who have lots of those scrolls (e.g. I have 323 SSR meteor scrolls and 969 SR ones).

I have always pronounced it Sherry not Cherry like Champagne makes a sh sound but arguments could be made for a Sheree as the pronuciation

How it should be pronounced is entirely up to you. Cherry, Sherrie, Churri..Whatever they're all correct

So unless we know how the authors wants us to pronounce Cherie, then anything passes.
