This is one of those rare sewing videos without background music. The blanket looks wonderful very intricate. I'm working on patchwork started 5 years ago I had to put on pause because too busy with work. Only in Lockdown did I restart the work. Very nice to sit down and doing some sewing but unfortunately I also started playing Animal Crossing game on the Switch. There's nothing much do when you have 5 star island. I feel more day is productive when I complete small patches. I want to add some hand quilting once front and back is complete.

Watching you work stitching, cutting, creating your fabric collages makes my heart sing. You remind me why I have loved my visits to Japan where there is beauty everywhere.
Would love to know what type of needle and thread you use? I bought needles from a tiny shop in Kyoto. They are bliss to use as glide through fabric so easily. Not strong enough for your work.

Thank you very much for watching video! Grad you like what I do🙌 I use regular needle, but choosing thin & sharp ones since it is smoother to go through thick fabric layers. Thread is 100% cotton text 105 from company called A&E.
