I started touring on recumbents in 1999 and did a number of tours in Europe which were fun and relatively easy as there are many cycle paths there. In North America these trails are few or in poor condition so I was cycled on local roads with little shoulder space or also in poor condition. I’ve since reverted to more upright bikes to better navigate these roads and cities. The local vehicle drivers do not seem to tolerate the recumbent riders very well in North America and I’ve had several close calls plus the bents I have are very poor hill climbers which there are lots of here.
I have always liked the Sturmey-Archer drum brakes on a trike, but that doesn't allow a hub dynamo. I understand S-A sells a hub dynamo, but it seems no one has used them on a tour.
Ahoj do Brodu. Ne všichni zvládají dokonale angličtinu. Chápu, že většina vaší produkce je do zahraničí, ale bylo by myslím fajn pro české zákazníky, aby tato videa byla i v češtině a nebo alespoň s titulky. Vždyť by to nebylo tak moc práce navíc, rozhodně by to mnoho českých lehokolistů ocenilo. Vždyť takovýmto přístupem úplně likvidujeme naši rodnou řeč, tím pádem i naši Národní identitu.

I have a vision and I already fell in love with that bike. Azub looks pretty solid though. Maybe someday.
