    Man, that amp sounds great.

    Did not expect those EMG’s to sound that good!

      EMG's sound good with any high wattage amps. Try the EMG-x series, they sound more passive vs regular emg's in my experience.

    Very tone full amp. The guitar playing is equally soulful and tone full - especially like the Hendrix cover - Bold as Love. Very nice.

      Nice! When did you order yours?

    • @zachg1218
      @zachg1218 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@bryangarcia662 The estimation I received when I ordered was 6 months. Unfortunately, it's been about a year and a half. I was just told this morning, it should be shipping in two weeks. But, I'm not too disappointed and I've been trying to be patient because of all the good things I've heard and I know this is one of their most popular models. Plus, I know there has been many supply chain issues over this past year. For the price, I've been fine waiting and staying excited.

    What a clean machine. Once again, your playing is a serious power of persuasion.
    Quit doing this please, my dumb ass ain't strong enough to resist it. 😂

    Headstock does not look like fender. Also, is presence and contour really the same thing?

    • @bryangarcia662
      @bryangarcia662 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Straight from the JM manual:
      "CONTOUR is an active high frequency control WITHOUT using negative feedback. This is a more effective control than a traditional presence control. At noon, the power amp is essentially flat. Counter clockwise reduces high frequencies, as well as increases bass response. Clockwise increases high frequencies. Use this control to add sparkle and clarity to your tone."

    • @bryangarcia662
      @bryangarcia662 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ClaudioMartella Well, they do very similar things so the term can easily be used interchangeably, the Contour is essentially just an evolved version of a Presence control.

    Is it a clone of the Two Rock JM Sig or is it a clone of the Two Rock Traditional Clean?

    • @GCKelloch
      @GCKelloch ปีที่แล้ว

      Pretty sure it's the JM. That's why it's called the JM.

    • @bryangarcia662
      @bryangarcia662 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It is derivative of the JM Sig, just like the Traditional Clean is. The Ceriatone JM is like taking a JM Sig and incorporating a few more qualities of an SSS style amp. Nik took this approach as he wanted an amp that can stand on it's own, as opposed to the original JM Sig which is meant to be paired with something much brighter, as the JM Sig is an incredibly dark amp in isolation.
      Both the Ceriatone JM and Traditional Clean are probably the closest amps to each other as they are both essentially JM Sigs but brighter and with tighter/less flubby low end.

    • @felipew101
      @felipew101 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      From perusing their website it seems to be a "softened" stripped back version of their SSS clone. (No fet boost and lack of a few switches and options)

    Don't those old EMG's roll off below 3kHz? Sound nice, but we'd be missing the nice 4kHz+ highs.

      good, no wimpy single coil icepick to deal with. Didn't know humans can hear frequency response graphs lmao.
