The most beautiful street in the Philippines - the 16th century Calle Crisologo, Vigan

Calle Crisologo in Vigan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines is a 500 meters long pedestrian-only street. One of the most beautiful streets in the Philippines. It boasts centuries-old stone houses, lovely tungsten lamps, and antique cobblestone, where horse-drawn carriages or kalesas are still used for transport.
The street is part of Vigan’s picturesque Heritage Village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This consists of about 200 beautifully restored houses dating back to the 16th century. A few of the ancestral houses have also become restaurants and others have been converted into inns and souvenir shops for traditional local products.
In May 2015, Vigan City was officially recognized as one of the World'sNew7Wonders Cities.
