"it is not a street car, it's not for neighborhoods, its not for casual driving". Proceeds to casually drive down the street of a quiet neighborhood...
Thanks for making this awesome video. This is a great tribute to a legendary car with over 1,000 victories. Everything you said is 100% true. Porsche. There is no substitute.
I for one appreciate and thank Jerry Seinfeld and others of similar good fortune and wealth (including Jay Leno, Gabriel Iglesias) for sharing their passion in buying, restoring and maintaining classic automobiles so that some of our most iconic vehicles can be preserved for posterity.
It makes me a bit sad and envious to watch this video . . . because I use to own it. I raced it on the west coast mostly at Laguna Seca, Sears Point, Cotati, etc. It was a super nice car to drive and it handled almost like a go-kart on steroids. Wi$h I still had it today.
I used to own 550RS Spyder #55. I bought it in 1986, restored it, and sold it in 1999. Last year it sold at Gooding's auction in Monterey, for $4.4M. Yes, I wish I had the money but most of all, I loved that car and wish I still had just to sit with it and occasionally drive it. I know how you feel.
Back then racing fans had not only R&T, we also had Sports Car Graphic, and Sports cars Illustrated. It was great following these great cars and the equally great Rodriguez brothers in those mags.
And forever it is said nothing beats a Porsche. It holds the Nuremberg record which may stand forever as flat-out driving on Nuremberg has been banned as it has become so dangerous
Who says money can't buy you happiness?!

I thought the 55' 550 spyder was called the Goliath Killer cuz it was the one designed to take on the bigger cars?
"It is not for neighborhoods. It is not for casual driving" Next shot is literally Jerry casually driving through a neighborhood.
Doesn't get better than that.
Is this the one built around a chassis plate and not much else original?
What's this from and where can I watch the rest of it??
Made a little bit bigger for the modern road and this would be a timeless classic even today.
If he's selling this and the 550. I wonder what he won't sell.
Why on earth would he sell that? He must have had (what someone like him must consider) a cash problem. That can be the only explanation..
I don't know why this isn't a feature length film!

Nurburgring. Nuremberg is the city where they put nazis on trial for war crimes and crimes against humanity.
It's not a pick!
When cars where true race cars... now days new cars suck a$$..
550 Spyder much sexier motor.
