Hey Andrew, thanks for reviewing DPS and for the shout out! A couple things. 1) DPS comes in Stream, Fog and Foam. All of these patterns, as you mentioned in the video, generally have different ranges for effective spray distance. The insert card for the clamshell packaging that mentions "15-17" feet solely refers to the Stream pattern, which will always be the longest range (aside from Gel, which has the same spray method) out of any dispersal pattern. Fog and Foam have the shortest spray distance, particularly the later. A 1/2 oz - 3/4 oz DPS Stream unit will shoot 15-17 ft, a 2oz Stream will go 17 feet and a 4oz Stream will hit up to 20 ft away. A 2oz Fog, in this case, is rated for 12 ft, per the manufacturer. 2) DPS does not have any Black Label packaging inserts; they use the X-Stream Range inserts for everything. The title should reflect DPS Black Label. Hope that clarifies things. Sorry for the confusion! -Ulrich
If you ever wonder why they use the same flip tops for all the different brands, that's because an inventor named Albert Caruso came up with all the different pepper spray mechanisms and patented them. They are purchased form an aerosol accessories manufacturer called Avanti USA.
Not always foggers are bad in a windy area. If the wind is blowing towards your enemy, then this can be a huge advantage for you and it will also increase the range of your spray
@@CosmoSkerrythey’re equal in the amount of pain they bring and their stopping power. Both are used by law enforcement. I own both but the black label stream has a longer range hence that’s my daily carry for both aggressive dogs and people. Test fired some and got it on my index finger and it felt like I held the finger on a stove on max heat for 15 seconds.
Ive bought a few of these. I watched a review where they tested it on law enforcement and the guy was a GIANT guy and it knocked his ass straight down. It appears to be some very nasty stuff. I only trust my GF carrying this or Fox mean green but DPS black label first

Hey man. what your opinión the pepper spray Magnum police oc 17 flip top?
I’m a DPS person for a long time, it’s nasty! Inmates call it the silver bullet.
Do you know if this is better than Freeze +P?
I don't have an opinion of freeze +p.
@@ConcealedCarryAndrew Thanks for reply. Was curious which is the better OC/CS blend. Maybe they're both good
