Audio Two, Cold Crush Brothers, And Kool Herc !!!!
I sure miss these days growing up in the 80s.
Pure hip hop music at its finest. The dislikes are from people who don't like the way that Sally walks.
I had a lot of fun when this song was out!

One of the most underrated rap albums in history. This album is a bona fide classic and doesn't get the props it deserves.
True indeed
It’s cause the lyrics are kind of corny.
back when they didn't curse or talk explicit but were still dope
I was in 10th grade!! 1988-89!! You just don't know what kind of affect at hip-hop culture did to us!! Thank you kindly HIP-HOP!! 🙏🏽 💯🎛🎤👊🏽✌🏽
What did it do?
@cravendubose8179 because it was the golden years of hip-hop!! You must understand here!! Hip-hop represented the evolution of african americans in who lived amid the posterior happenings of staunch black liberation!! With P.E., Boogie Down Production to N.W.A that decade of 88-89 african americans and ideology that equated black strength and authentic black identity!! I'm 51 years YOUNG and I'm so proud to be a part of that culture called hip-hop!!
I was in the 8th grade, going into the 9th. The music culture was spreading from 'hoods, to the 'burbs, to all over the globe. 😊
I remember waiting for this song to come on the radio so I could record it. Tape in the deck ready. 😆🤣🤣
Yesssss me too!!
I remember those days. Yes
Hahaha. Im a lil older we recorded Whodini, Run Dmc, Malcolm Mclaren (Buffalo Girls), Neneh Cherry 🍒 (Buffalo stance), Davy D, Eygptian Lover, fresh Mcs, Mellie Mel,

This song popped in my head this morning while washing my face. I have no idea why, I hadn't heard this song in probably 20 years until today! Real Rap throwback to the early days in the 80s. Memories! 😊
30 yrs later it still thumps! The bass line is on hit and the sample of James Brown is the bomb! (1, 2, 3 , 4 hit it )
That bassline is perfect like many stet tunes!

Dominic Evans that's because they were a hip hop band. not just q group, they had extensive knowledge of how to group tune & note

This jam played allllllllllll over the hood. Btw, these brothas look real good on this album cover.
All over the 'hood in Washington, D.C. too.
I'm surprised that this doesn't have more views , this had a lot of radio play back in the day.
Everybody sampled James Brown back in the 80s,he should definitely enducted into hip hop all of fame

My younger aunt's and their friends getting their cheerleader drills and routines ready. My youngest uncle would play his saxophone to the rhythm. The 80s man. Unfaded never can be duplicated.

Me too. 2024.
My Old School Hip Hop Rap and R&B from 80s and 90s.
If you heard Red Alert cut this that Friday night. I wish I still had the tape of Red when he cut this up. Then he brought in the Jungle Brothes because I got it like that. New DJs have no clue about how to be a DJ

This is why I miss 80s hip hop. The beat is sharp and Sally is still walking especially on the nonsense played today!!!

I can't stop my body from moving when I hear it.
Been rolling this album since it came out! Still 💘
My first Hip Hop 12" single. Still have it and the cover photo seemed dated, even in 1988. The cover photo looked almost 1970's style but with better trainers and drainpipe jeans.
Legendary 😮💨🔥
Still hitting in 2022. Miss those Troop jogging suits
Old school at it's BEST!!!!!!!
