I ordered, I was very surprised when it came to me and I found out that the bridge is shifted 1-2 mm off the axis of the guitar, it had to go back, I didn't expect this from a guitar for which they ask 1990€ and I'm not talking about the sound of the pickups, which is very specific and may not suit everyone ... But otherwise it is a very nice guitar and what I appreciated the most was the top cut on the body, very pleasant for the right hand, for this price there could be a suitcase for it.

Interesting that yours didn’t fit the 74. The 7 Tao in Azure I have took the 74 without issue.

@@GearStuffandThings interesting!!! Perhaps they didn’t put a larger opening tuner on mine by accident? Or maybe schecter saw my video and made sure to put a tuner on there with a wider hole! lol

A very nice guitar, also a great review video. But I'm sticking with the Evertune system. Still interesting to look at new models. Peace :)

@@gearheads8439 I have the Esp MH-1000 snow white, but i changed the pickups into one active emg 81x (and a passive emg hz just for the optics). looks better than fishman and a emg because of the color. I also playing on 72-13 Baritone Ernie Ball strings with 2 high tension saddles for the 2nd and 3rd first strings. Maybe not the usual changes but now this guitar is perfect :)) Brutal open drop a sound and sometimes i tuned the first string down to F due to fear factory jamming

LOL good ears! Yeah one of my cats was trying to be in the video, lol. Yeah, I think the Sunset Extreme 7 is a great alternative and is just over half the price! Let me know how you like it!

It’s 500-600 overpriced. When compared to a sunset extreme 7 it only has minor upgrades. Not $700 in upgrades from a sunset extreme.
Yes, in comparison to the sunset extreme 7 it is a large jump; however, in comparison to other Korean made Schecter's with similar specs and other companies' offerings like LTD, Ibanez, Charvel, Jackson, etc. its very much in line with those prices. Thanks for you input!
I believe the woods used cause a huge jump in price, Nyatoh comes on the sunset extreme and that's a fairly cheap wood compared to swamp ash on the JB. Same with the maple/rosewood neck compared to the wenge/padauk. Then on top of that, real hipshot hardware on the JB compared to Schecter's in house hardware. The components definitely warrant the higher price tag, in my opinion. Not that you wanted it, but there ya go.
@@ronnierobertson1412 i don't know man, but my swamp ash '11 Loomis was like 860 USD, EMGs with original Floyd in these times top tier but with nickel frets, it's going silly with todays prices
@@ronnierobertson1412 Yeah exactly, there are a lot factors going into the price difference. The Sunset Extreme's are also made in Indonesia which has cheaper labour than Korea. Then you add the after-market Hipshot hardware, the pricier woods, and then the fact that its an artist model.
More exotic woods and the artist cut. It makes sense. No incentive for John brown if he isn’t getting a few hundred off each sale.

@@Hubblereach0 Hi! I just checked and they are all perfectly polished. My guess it looked that way due to lighting reflections and/or the video processing of the iphone.
