They performed it GORGEOUSLY. Hikaru sounded sharper in a few parts, but it doesn't take away from the overall song, and she did beautifully in the remaining parts. Really, I come back to this again and again, it's just gorgeous.
Hello everybody! I'm back with a new video! This time I decided to go with a video I've had ready for ages but wasn't sure to post it before. Far On the Water. This song was one of the many collaborations Kalafina had with Rekishi Hiwa Historia. I've never watched the show before, but I have always loved the songs Kajuira-san made for the girl's as collaboration . FOTW is a song that tells us the story of a journey. A journey we make everyday in our lives and that will lead us into the future. The lyrics talk about how their little oars create a song with the water, that song being the story of their journey; that story they created together as they moved forward into the future. At the end, they say "I am pretty sure our vanishing song will reach you one day". And I think all of us can certificate that it did. Their song reached us. Even now that they are navigating in different boats, the new song they are creating will reach us. And just like them, all of us will create a song that will reach the heart of someone. The results of our hard work, of our journey in this world, is that vanishing song. I hope you enjoyed this song as much as I did! I agree with you. They were getting closer to the Kohaku Uta Gassen. A really unique group and not replicated in the Japanese anisong landscape.

いい意味で一歩も引かずプロ意識満点で歌の上手さを張り合った結果、とんでもなく素晴らしいハーモニーになっている。３人がいてこの魔法のような癒やされる旋律が生き、逆にその旋律があって３人の上手さが引き出されているのでしょうね。
もう解散したのはとても残念です。元気がでにくい時はまた作品を楽しみにきます。
