If you already have the stat shard that the ability evolves with, it will show at the bottom of the NEW ability card. So if you've got all your stat shards and the card doesn't show the stat at the bottom, then it evolves with a stat that you don't have.
Unfortunately some of the characters are objectivly better than others. Dont give up, tho I wanna see you beat this. Pick up the miss fortune boons whenever you can, the golden circles on the ground. Same goes for the cannon and fuel cells. Partly because this game is a rougelike, its designed to be hard until you play it enough, if you want the challenge of beating it on jinx, spend gold on ability haste and damage, and other upgrases usefull for jinx Keep trying I belive in you Ioki! 👍
This was very entertaining. My tips: 0] Only get XP if it's early in the game. It helps you scale faster but is worth less and less if you get it later into the game. Plus it kinda griefs your weapon upgrades unless you're Aurora. DI consider Pick Up/Duration/etc. a risk and luxury unless you have 5+ passive slots unlocked. 1] Remember to leave boss's Access Cards on the ground unless you have a weapon at lv.5. That's how you trigger the evolution. Weapons cannot evolve from a simple level up even if you satisfy the stat requirements. This means once you have the stat bonuses you need, you want to prioritize leveling weapons so you can pick up your access cards asap. 2] Sometimes you get unlucky with Augments. But there is strategy. Figure out your Core Stats + Core weapons. If there isn''t an ideal option suboptimize in such a way that increases the odds of you still having a chance to get your core stats. It might be worth taking a shitty weapon to leave crucial passive slots open if you're running low on those. Champion Specific: 3] Leona's passive scales off Max HP and Max Armor - which boosts her basic ability AoE. So you prioritize those stats 100%. She does really well with Radiant and Cyclone items (since they evolve from stats she already wants): which also get boosted by her passive. If you know you need those 3 stats (Armor, HP, Regen), you know the risk in shrinking open Passive Stat slots with a less optimal stat. The HP weapon Static Shiv or the Regen Glove weapon help you break bombs at ranged - crucial for solo runs. Leona very much has Best In Slots and is a lot weaker with alternative weapons. For Jinx ... she wants Cyclone because it helps her not get swarmed, and HP Regen is the one defensive stat she'll get. Since she's requires Haste, you want the other two Haste Weapons. Haste -> Regen -> Damage -> Projectile -> Crit. But Jinx is the hardest champ to solo stuff with imo because she doesn't have a good "oh shit" ability. Leona is really effective at surviving and clearing till the bosses, but sometimes lacks the damage to beat Hard Mode bosses. I used Briar to clear Hard Bel'Veth and Aatrox because she can effectively stat-check and regen them (HP -> Damage -> HP Regen are her core stats, weapons same as Leona for solo runs tbh).
Trying not to backseat game too much, but loving the swarm content and it's great watching you progress. Jinx is one of the most difficult champs for this mode since, as you noticed, she's an ADC and needs that group around her to allow her to be able to die from time to time. You're getting the hang of this though, you've got the stats & abilities down now, planning is good, but you can't always get the abilites you want so you need to be somewhat flexible there. Getting an ability or 2 evolved should be your #1 prio so focus on getting your abilities maxed first, once you have all 5 ability slots filled the cards won't try to give you any new abilities which will make picking the ability you want to max more likely to show up. The fact that getting an ability evolved makes such a huge difference is the main reason that EXP and Pickup are highly prioritized early, because more XP means more cards. Ability Haste is also highly prioritized due to the fact that it's good on everyone because more ability haste means more uses of both your active AND passive abilities. So a good general strat can be to pick up EXP shards early if you can, and have in mind a few abilities that evolve with stat shards you generally like or stats your character naturally has in abundance, grab those and max them fast, prioritize ability levels over stat shard levels since you only need 1 stat shard level to evolve.
i usually get stats that wok with the champ, so for leona you go armour, max healt, health regen, and ability haste. as wepons you go for radiant field, those rotating slicers around you, static sword, a uwu blaster for single target, etc.
I gues my only advice would be, I'm pretty sure but take into consideration I haven't played this yet. If you press Tab it gives you a list on the top left with items and what upgrades the item, to maybe help you make a better choice..... nvm you just found it as I was typing it
Take this with a grain of salt since I don’t play too many games now but EXP should be a priority especially early game. Even though it doesn’t buff you that level, getting more levels overall is OP. Loving the swarm content!
Wrong, exp is a bad upg you always get lvl 35 each game(37-40 with exp upg) which is wasted on leveling.. exp. When you have 5 slots you should get crit, haste, main weapon Stat, dmg, max hp. You get exp as a 6th filler to make sure you can upgrade your core stats. Secure the right upg first and get xp last so you can get 1-2 more lvl

The belveth missions make it so you pretty much always get all 5 weapons evolved and if you save 5 cards on the ground at all times its almost impossible not to have 5 evolved weapons. I personally prefer move speed or health regen. Since the vortex gloves are decent evolved. Uwu blaster is S tier imo then static sword. Honestly with just those 2 you could beat extreme aatrox.

I don't know if anyone said this already, but it seems like you have to unlock some stats through meta progression. You can't evolve things that upgrade with crit chance or area size (the 4 way arrow thingy), because you don't have those stats unlocked yet. You can see the objectives at the end of each run, in the post game screen. At the end of the video, you had picked 6/10 bombs (the ones that drop from boxes on occasion) to unlock area size, and you've crited 4.9k enemies out of 40k to unlock crit chance. So maybe don't pick weapons that evolve with these stats for now, cuz you'll never get to evolve them.

One of the Yuumi quests gives you a 60 second global magnetic skill. Really nice! But the Pickup radius does cost a slot 🥺 (same goes with xp though!) Jinx is my favourite. Such a great DPS champ!
People underestimate PICK-UP RADIUS! You are a squishy, squishy thing. If you can pick things up from a mile away, you won't have to worry about getting wrecked nearly as much.
All champs have a designated build path, Jinx goes damage, so your prioritize damaging weapons like Stattik Sword and Meow Meow, so then you choose stats that evolve those weapons. Leona, for example, is supposed to be the team's tank that lives as a solo while waiting for all the DPS to revive, so Leona builds Health and Armor, and builds weapons that support the team, like Pickup Radius to gather exp and gold in areas swarmed by enemies, and CC items/effects that thin the herd of enemies to allow DPS to survive, like Radiant Field. In Short, there is no set priority of Stats or Weapons, you have to keep in mind what role each Champion is supposed to serve.
If i had one suggestion, focus on getting your weapons up to lvl 5 as soon as possible. One of your runs you had like 10 lvls worth of stats and all your qeapons were lvl 1 or 2.
Hey ioki I feel like sometimes you get too tunnel vision on one thing for example when you learned about evolving you’re only picking up stats but remember if your weapon isn’t level 5 the stat card can’t evolve your weapon.
That final transit is OP upgraded. Ive also found (at least on jinx) having the 60%less max health but crazy regen is huge. I was able to beat this stage with that set up and got lucky with getting max healths after the regen. My max health was still lower than normal but the amount of regen was crazy. I never got below half health even when swarmed or during the briar fight and he knocked me out of the circle.
Hey Ioki, you aren't doing anything wrong, you could focus more on evolving weapons but the issue is not in how you are playing, you NEED more upgrades to progress, try doing the tasks in the client for new stuff!
I think what you're doing wrong is trying the hardest level you've gotten to while still learning. Take a look at the objectives and see what you can complete in some easier levels to get some unlocks. That's one of the main issues in that you've got the idea of how to make builds down now but you don't have crit chance unlocked as a stat so you can't evolve any weapons with it. Also for some reason there's no area size item in game at the moment even once you've unlocked it so you can't evolve either of the two weapons that upgrade with it
My advice is, UwU guy, abbility haste, crit chance and yasuo. And then go for other wepons that say “Can crit” and stats than synergize with Them and your playstyle

Damage is honestly the weakest stat, only take it if you need to evolve some thing. The reason it's the weakest stat is because it doesn't scale well. It only increases your damage by up to 50%. Crit, which is only a damage boost, increases your dmg by about 75% to double when you crit, so it's actually more valuable. All of the other stats are MUCH MORE VALUABLE because they compound upon one another. The best stats in general are: Ability Haste - number one stat and will give you the most bang for your buck. Unfortunately not a lot of items evolve with it. Area Size - Bigger weapons means more enemies hit. Especially useful when stacking items that benefit off duration. Duration - longer up time means more damage output. Gets even stronger when stacking haste. Projectile Count - the weakest of the general use stats because you already have 3 additional projectiles in your upgrade stats. It's much more item dependent than the other three stats but still pretty good. These 4 stats in general are the best for damage and utility, but of they may not affect some weapons. The other stats are more character and item focused on how good they are. Obviously health is good on a melee champ or if you wanna get the most out of the Radient weapon. Experience is actually kinda a trap. You already have a decent xp boost in your upgrade stats. So is pick up range. Only take these if you need to evolve a weapon.
Also, in general the best weapon in the game is the statikk sword. It's evolution is easily the strongest one there is, especially with a haste stacking build. It has a pretty strong mix of single target dps and EXCELLENT aoe.
Have u been able to get the Area size passive during a game? me and countless other never get it... despite having the achievement done. Also i struggle with getting Story achievments done even when if the criterias are met.

Jinx definitely seems harder. But it is partialy due to weapon choice. I think she needs a lot more AOE. The spinny discs also seem pretty okay on her, especially upgraded ones that will knock back some smaller enemies. That being said, I'm not sure how rolling upgrades works, but if this was my run I'd definitely call "unlucky" for not being able to get one weapon to lv5 by the 7-8 min mark. Strategy in picking weapons was definitely on point in all the runs though, at least in my eyes.
You need to stop running into packs of mobs and be like Amumu cry, you gotta be near them but not touch them.... run in a small circle so the large packs follow behind you then pick up xp on the 2nd run around the circle.
its infuriating me that you never notice the rainbow sparkles on the ground guiding you towards the bunny power up card things... you just saunter around the outside keeping the card slightly off screen
you haven't unlocked passive crit chance or the crit card upgrade but it forcing you into crit abilities if you check your objectives you need to step 1 reach level 25 on jinx(mostly with Heiz or the fun squad) step 2 pick vortex glove and get to level 4 step 3 buy the now unlocked passive crit to unlock the crit card step 4 ???!?(have fun) step 5 profit
Jinx imo is better with a team and not solo from all the people I have seen playing this because she doesn’t have the damage mid game like other champions do
Bro of course u die early ur playing an adc and not building damage. You also have to kill the bosses ASAP. You died like 3-4 times just because you ignored a boss and then there were too many of them on the map. If you dont one shot the minions you will die solo. You absolutely have to be able to do that before even thinking about survival or other stats.
Personally auto aim is really good. There is so much shit going on later that its necessary. That and people tend to point where they are walking. Also hard mode is so easy its not funny. Just have to not play the worst champ oh and a FYI push tab to see what everything evolves with. Need to focus quests too. You not having critical chance upgrade or passive just makes jinx absolutely terrible.
@@oofx2698 it's really not. The only champ that makes any good use of it is jinx and barely even that. Auto aim prioritizes closest enemies. All you do vs bosses is toggle it focus them down and turn it back off.

Exp is pointless stats, you dont really need levels if you just take stats that synergize Well with your wepons.

you haven't unlocked passive crit chance or the crit card upgrade but it forcing you into crit abilities if you check your objectives you need to step 1 reach level 25 on jinx(mostly with Heiz or the fun squad) step 2 pick vortex glove and get to level 4 step 3 buy the now unlocked passive crit to unlock the crit card step 4 ???!?(have fun) step 5 profit

Jinx imo is better with a team and not solo from all the people I have seen playing this because she doesn’t have the damage mid game like other champions do

You also have to kill the bosses ASAP. You died like 3-4 times just because you ignored a boss and then there were too many of them on the map.
If you dont one shot the minions you will die solo. You absolutely have to be able to do that before even thinking about survival or other stats.

Honestly jinx is just kinda bad early on, when you have a massive amount of upgrades she gets some high damage
u need to be using you E basicaly on cooldown
It is possible you have to be good at dodging
Personally auto aim is really good. There is so much shit going on later that its necessary. That and people tend to point where they are walking. Also hard mode is so easy its not funny. Just have to not play the worst champ oh and a FYI push tab to see what everything evolves with. Need to focus quests too. You not having critical chance upgrade or passive just makes jinx absolutely terrible.
Auto aim is really bad lol
@@oofx2698 it's really not. The only champ that makes any good use of it is jinx and barely even that. Auto aim prioritizes closest enemies. All you do vs bosses is toggle it focus them down and turn it back off.
Not being able to reroll seems so fucking lame? How come u dont have any rerolls, it lets you avoid those picks where u were offered 3 things that fuck your build over
You unlock rerolls (up to 3) by completing objectives.
