Pokemon Go had much better presence in peoples lives so people had more reason to play it. I like both games but 1 thing I like more about Pokemon is that you can "play it" even if there are no Pokestop/Portals nearby because XM in Ingress equals to Wild Spawn so even if you are somewhere remote you can still find some wild spawns to play with. :/
@@PawzfullofPixel I guess with most things the first one feels better. I showed Ingress to some pokemonplayers and they thought it was ugly, makes sence cause pokemon seems way more cartoony and fun....
For standard balance of offense and defense, using two shields in conjunction with a force amp and a turret will protect portals. Higher level agents may have the means to deal with these because of their larger XM pool, but lower level agents beware - a portal network can reduce your XM bar to zero very quickly if armed in this method. The use of a Lawson power cube is recommended for dealing with this. During anomaly events and encounters with the November Lima, liberal use of the Aegis Shield is recommended. Combined with the might of multiple agents recharging, a portal can be very well protected. Control of a portal may very well be the number of agents trying to access it. Teamwork is the key to victory.
To stop the opposition from gaining the XP for neutralising a portal. Also it means they don't get points for capturing and have effectively wasted their time. It's a strategy used purely for stopping and slowing opposition players. It doesn't give you any AP.
And it means they have to wait an hour to flip it back, destroy and capture again. But most people can't wait, so it gets left, effectively a useless portal. Also if you do want to get points for it, any mods left will still be there which means you can't set up that portal the way you want. It is a way to annoy the opposition only.
You can also use the refractors to change your own portals around if you have made a field generator. That way you can break the fields, essentially linking them again to gain even more AP and MU
I hate to be THAT guy but I have to. This game is NOT based off of an anime. It's the other way around. The anime is based off of the game. The anime came out in 2018 while the game came out all the way back in 2012. Although it did get a huge update which even came with a rename of the game to Ingress Prime in 2018 to coincide with the release of the anime.
Can’t believe people jumped on Pokemon go but didn’t bother about this game. It’s much better.

Tried Pokemon for about 3 days, ran back to Ingress... guess I'm not the target, glad to see still people start this game tho, is Telegram any good?
I like both but pokemon more because it’s not dark I get it’s to set a theme but it doesn’t go well with me I still like the game though

I played Ingress before PoGo. Love them both.

We need the AR similar to Go and Wizards unite in this game. Imagine if we saw portals similar to this in real life through our phones???
We're ready to attack the green ones!!! All hail RESISTANCE!!!
MY NAME IS ROLAND JARVIS
It's just an ADA Refactor, Jarvis - damn
With the new interface I almost ADA’s my desk portal lol

Who knows... you might just get your wish.
But beware. This... "third faction" could be far worse than you could ever imagine.

what a weird little game.
Still good enought to let you type a comment... try it for a week bro, your world will never be the same... I hope you try it.. ;-)
After the release of Ingress Prime 90% of the Ingress Players left. It's a dead game now. The Orignal was way much better.
Cant belive this base off a anime.
