      How can we blame Ghana for our economy? Ghana needs to fix its economy first. The only comparison between Ghana's and Nigeria's economies is due to the common factor (West Africa). Other than that, there is no competition. At all.

    The simple truth is that investors are more scared for their lives in Nigeria than in Ghana.

    Politicians will always look for someone or something to put the blame on for their failure to create the enabling environment to attract businesses. Let no one buy into this blatant lie. Nigeria has all it takes to be the best in attracting businesses from anywhere in the world. but the rot and corruption in the system will always be the hindering factors. Politicians must accept and confront the challenges head on and stop creating enmity with other countries.

    Nigeria is a definition of a failed State period!
    How do you have so much money and the people are jobless and infrastructure far below average?

  • @chaskeley
    @chaskeley 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Where there is strong love of money, there is strong d-evil.
    I have to succeed by any means attitude is very untrustworthy. The trouble with Nigeria is money. There's a big difference between money and an ambitious spirit. Is called greedy. In greed you find jealousy. Jealousy undermines unity and output.
    The scariest part is that the youth like money too much too.
    I pray for and I receive the day Nigeria become Africa conscious and not money conscious only.

    Foolish accusation. If the investor is poised to invest in Nigeria nothing should change his mind. African politicians would not accept their short falls but would rather blame someone for their misconduct. I know he would one day blame Ghana for not being able to satisfy his wife.

    Anyway lobbying is not a crime it simply means to persuade, what ever a person /an entity gets in this life they lobby for it. Big nations lobby, small nations lobby. Let us (the sub region) tackle our individual national issues so when we begin to benefit, the spill over will impact all of us. Is unfortunate from the minister..

  • @kuuku006
    @kuuku006 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    As a Ghanaian,i must admit that there's a direct policy by the GIPC to attract Nigerian companies and firms to resettle their operations in Ghana. Granted, as the panelist said, it's not Ghana that's making this policy attractive to the Nigerian companies to take it up. Nigeria in itself is making business operations and climate unfavorable with erratic,inept and misguided policies. The resources of Nigeria has always being the privy almost only for the Nigerian elite. Unfortunately they themselves(the elites) has being chopping away on the platform that has being holding them since independence. I predict 5 years from today, that platform would begin to crumble in disastrously.

    Minister of trade in Nigeria is not serious. What incentives do you put on the table for investors and the right environment ? Companies are not small kids to just tell investors to move from a country they’re investing to another country. He’s not really a business man. Ghana has great incentives and tax waives for foreign companies not even local companies. That’s why everyone is trooping to invest and make money.
