Spot….not croaker btw. Very good to eat but ALOT of tiny bones
Its 2024 been surf fishing a few times in Jacksonville and the fishing is horrible.... Started in February its now june gonna give it a few more tries, if its the same way by end of year im debating on the gulf Coast where i know the fishing is much better....
Even in Feb, the water at Jax Beach is warmer than San Diego in August.
This reminds me of 95% of my surf fishing trips. Thanks for the video.
You’re welcome!
I'll be down that way in dec what kinda fish is running around that time?
Really liked it.
I travel down to st Augustine I the summer for vacation. Any advice on some good fresh/saltwater spots. I've found a nice spot under a bridge on the a1a south of st augustine beach. Any advice other than surf fishing. Unfortunately I don't have access to a boat or yak.
Yea! I've got a whole series of videos specifically for that if you wanna check it out!
So glad to see someone with shore fishing in Jax!
malikah singleton people seem to be enjoying it, i guess I’ll make it a habit!
Forgot to mention the bite has been incredible lately. Caught tons of black drum and stingray in the jetties the past 2 weeks. Also caught a yellowtail jack in the st John's this weekend in fruit cove! Crazy
Love Love the Surf fishing Action!!! Count me in on your channel! We TH-cam Fishermen got to stick together! Just Subbed!
Not a croaker, it's called a spot
the one with the spot on it lol
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spot_(fish) were good kingfish bait off the pier before matthew bit off a 3rd of it
Huh. I had no idea, thanks for letting me know!
awesome! i'm going to visit jax in nov. i'll def try shore fishing
That’s awesomeness! I have a series on starting shore fishing if you wanna check that bad boy out!
Maybe Patrick should learn how to unhook his own fish lol. He needs to do it!
Jason Mac haha I totally agree! But it was his first time out there with me so I was letting him have all the fun with none of the work lol. He’s gonna help me for sure next time! Thanks for watching!
Looks like a awesome day! Might have to copy ya and go surf fishing my self
Dinsmore Outdoors I’ve not had a bite like that in the surf in years. This is definitely the time to do it!
Great vid!!! Would like to see you target some redfish
Zackrus Agee copy that I’ll give it my best cast!
Shark was a Blacktip.
Nice videos! I kayak fish JAX. Just started a channel! Check me out when you get a chance. Thx! Keep it up!!
This is Johnny Bones, my kids took over my TH-cam with there fortnite streams lol. I really enjoyed this one. I'm debating going to the beach today. Did you there any fish bites?
Little Gamerz HD went out both Saturday and Sunday this past weekend. Caught what you saw here Saturday (and about 30% of our catches I didn’t even record) and Sunday was mostly shark
Just went fishing and flounder gigging at fort George. The new moon and rain may be helping the bite in Jax atm
FriedRiceDude have an old buddy that I used to work with flounder gigs all the time
I have had that bite on small whitings plenty of times on Jax , Atlantic, or Ponte Vedra Beaches while I lived in Jacksonville. That is a spot not croaker and the drum is undersized
I always visit there but I dont have tools for fishing I would love to fish and eat them
I used to fish and surf here. In '95, when they did the dredge, I used to snorkle with a Hawaiian sling. And, the pipe coming up from the offshore sandbar turned this spot into a manmade pointbreak. Pretty rad.
i do not miss catching catfish haha
What beach access is this or what street? Not alot of people here thats what im looking for at the one ur at..
This is just south of the pier, can’t remember where exactly but I usually walk a mile or so south from any beach access to get rid of the crowds
@@904Fishing ya im going in the morning didnt know what might be a good spot away from people or not the videos are awesome thanks for the help
Glad I could help! Like i said wherever you walk into the beach make sure to head at least a half mile down the beach
That 8th fish is a spot btw and are great to eat. Awesome day
what was your gear you used
