Explanation
Waken-no-Mikoto subdued Ezo in eastern Japan, and when he finally returned to Yamato, he was ordered to defeat Okijin and Mt. Ibuki in Omi Province. Before the battle, he realized that he could easily defeat Kusanagi without his sword, so he entrusted his sword to his wife and headed for Mt. Ibuki. Life without Kusanagi's sword at hand has a difficult time, but he succeeds in defeating the great demon. However, the story goes that during the battle, he was exposed to the poisonous air of the demon's sorcery and died.
