Nashville is looking for country snap tracks and not good stories like this. It's not just Allison but there's a lot of "Americana Country" artists that make great music like this but are not as big.
I fell in love with this song when I first heard it on an alternative progressive college radio station near me. It got a lot of air time and I loved it. Now I'm so addicted to the song! Every time i hear it, it sounds better and better. Misunderstood relationship outside society's norms? That's ok. It paints a beautiful picture in our hearts.
