Splinterlands is a great game so I asked My friend to try it for the first time, he doesn't like it he asked me "Why do you spend a ton of money just to get soul bound reward cards with no value at all, yeah it may in the future but for how long 2yrs?", I think the dying part of splinterlands is the play to earn mechanics of it, they are all leaning to be a play for game but compaired to other triple a games splinterlands doesn't come close to it, they are simply nerfing the rewards just make it nice on a form of "soulbound reward cards". tho they keep on bringing some cool stuffs but the play to earn that you've expected isn't there anymore esp. leagues below diamond.
Sps rewards are not small, if you include brawls and ranked play, and the SB cards allow for spending less on a deck so there is still intrinsic value in them
