Its almost like he had a vision, the bull saw a future where instead of siding with the court he fought for wukongs freedom and lost everything. He dies, his child suffers, his wife presumably dies, and wukong is left to fight alone anyways, almost like wukong was gifting a vision to tell the bull he made the right decision and that he doesnt hate him for going against him. WUKONG’s mountain was spilled with blood and battle knives lying around. BDK’s wife Iron fan was forced pregnant by her master to keep the last bloodline of the species. It was implied that their species was wiped out by either the court of Buddha. BDK probably knew about this but they still got separated and he went together with a fox princess. Wrong choice. Iron fan knew the origin of the kid was a big problem so she kept quiet for long, until wukong was in the journey to the west and exposed the truth. But this part is deduction, only piecing information together. Iron fan said if it’s not for that monkey we would just part our ways quietly. What wukong promised to the court and Buddha was I will go with your plan, earn merit, in return to spare all my yaoguai people. BDK is one of them. But in the journey to the west, what he realised was the court and lingshan wanted all yaoguai to obey to them. They still wiped out his mountain. That’s why he said this is the only way to BDK after he conquered BDK’s mountain. Wukong did what he can do to keep BDK’s family alive. Send his son to Buddha. He said he took the fan but later we all knew the fan is still with Iron Fan. It’s also implied that the fox was not innocent. The pig killed her and the pig has a saying that for those dying under his weapon are never innocent. But BDK refused to surrender and fought back. He was beheaded. Wrong choice. BDK doesn’t die from this. He’s powerful enough. So after Wukong finished the journey to the west and decided to rebel again, BDK took this chance as a revenge to his last defeat, with other demon kings and severely maimed Wukong. Another wrong choice. But that’s BDK’s brother so he went to carry his body. That’s when Wukong said why he was doing all this. BDK finally realised what he was fooled so badly. People like them, powerful big yaoguai without connections/control from the top, your existence is wrong. WUKONG’s last word is don’t touch his relic. Whoever tied up to his relic won’t end well. That’s fate. But court of heaven knew better. You don’t want your yaoguai brothers to take your relics? Wonderful I’ll force them to take as prizes. If you don’t take, well that’s disobeying my order. Some didn’t quite get it but BDK for sure get it. So what he did was swallow the biggest relic and just keep it in his stomach. Some time later BDK’s son was clearly chained and demanding for the relic. He was born out of revenge and that’s the job he think he should complete. That’s why he said, you knew it all then why are you still their dog. The later part of the story is basically his son is trying to get the relic to launch the war against the court of heaven.
animation scene 1: Erlang shen split Wukong's body as a reward and give to 5 yaoguais whos involved in that fight (the 5 bosses you fought at end of each chapter). Bull walking towards Wukong is the end of that battle which is also the beginning intro of this game. Scene 2: after Wukong said 'you never made a right choice' the bull started to recall its memories of 4 events ---- 1.Fighting celestial court along side with Wukong before Journey to the west begins. 2. Celestial court slaughtered Redboy's whole race and left one spirit to put into Bull's wife's womb with that childbearing water, this is also before the journey. 3. Redboy found out his true form and wants revenge. 4.When the Journey to the west started, Bulls family was one of the 'road block' to the gang, the Bull chose to not give out the fan so fight began and he almost got killed by the gang and the court in the end (the bull head scene). So in all these 4 events the Bull never stood in the right side, Celestial court fight they lose so the court 'gifted' him a 'son', first wife was killed by the journey boys, his son killed himself. They were actually trying to behead him as punishment, but no weapon of the entire world can do that😂 They tried everything, even tried to put him in the strongest fire to vanish him. If I’m not mistaken it’s Erlang dividing the 6 relics of wukong among the ppl you get them from, implying that they didn’t scatter and be hidden, rather they’ve been planted with each person and the guy tryna rizz rakshasi was saying he thought the relics were planted to have him come to each of these people.

While others were not mentioned much in the original novel JTTW, Bull King and Red Boy were actual trials set for the team of Tang Monk to overcome before reaching the enlightenment at Lingshan. In this game, the first wrong choice he (Bull King) made was when he, with Wukong, decided to declare war with the Celestial Court. In the novel it was only Wukong. He then was repressed by Buddha for 500 years to atone himself until Tank Monk recruited him to the journey as a part of the destiny. In this version of the game, we can see he was fighting along with Bull King, and after the defeat of the Havoc in Heaven's Palace event, Bull King’s family was punished as his wife (Rakshasi, or Princess Iron Fan) was forced to bear a child by drinking water from the river, and they were restrained in their place. The second wrong choice was when the team of Tang Monk encountered Bull King’s family and need the fan on their journey to the west. There Bull King chose to stand up against Wukong and the Court’s will again. This led to his total defeat as the second wife (a fox guai) was killed by Zhu Bajie, and his son (Red Boy) was sent to Guanyin to be a disciple in order to learn some manners. Not quite the dragons were pranking him cause he was a monkey and give him a pool which was used to measure the deepest part of ocean. They believed he couldn’t pick it up let alone use it. Only for wukong to will it to become smaller cause he can just do that. He left thinking this heavy stick was some legendary weapon. He did manage to trick them into giving him some OP armor tho.

For those wondering why bosses stuck into chart😂, it's because if certain stuff like chart, swords etc, if they survive in some of conditions long enough for hundreds or thousands years. They started to have their own sense and finally can transform into living creatures. That's what I thought from reading a lot of manhua 😂

The Bull Demon King in the game has become decadent and old because of the tragic things he experienced (lover's tragic death, marital discord, son's hatred, daughter's disappearance, sworn brother's tragic death)
In fact, the Yaksha tribe was not killed by the gods, but the one from Buddhism (Mount Lingshan). If you read the story of Red Yamaha in the game, you will see that the gods came and got the soul/DNA from the Yamaha King, then put inside Rakshasi (Bull King's wife) to create Red Boy. They believed that Red Boy would become an evidence of crime from the Buddhism factor then Celestial Court will take their influence on them.
BDK and WUKONG are sworn brothers. They fought the first war of court of heaven. Well, judging by the cinematic much later, this war probably didn’t end well on the yaoguai side. WUKONG’s mountain was spilled with blood and battle knives lying around.
BDK’s wife Iron fan was forced pregnant by her master to keep the last bloodline of the species. It was implied that their species was wiped out by either the court of Buddha. BDK probably knew about this but they still got separated and he went together with a fox princess. Wrong choice.
Iron fan knew the origin of the kid was a big problem so she kept quiet for long, until wukong was in the journey to the west and exposed the truth. But this part is deduction, only piecing information together. Iron fan said if it’s not for that monkey we would just part our ways quietly.
What wukong promised to the court and Buddha was I will go with your plan, earn merit, in return to spare all my yaoguai people. BDK is one of them. But in the journey to the west, what he realised was the court and lingshan wanted all yaoguai to obey to them. They still wiped out his mountain. That’s why he said this is the only way to BDK after he conquered BDK’s mountain.
Wukong did what he can do to keep BDK’s family alive. Send his son to Buddha. He said he took the fan but later we all knew the fan is still with Iron Fan. It’s also implied that the fox was not innocent. The pig killed her and the pig has a saying that for those dying under his weapon are never innocent.
But BDK refused to surrender and fought back. He was beheaded. Wrong choice. BDK doesn’t die from this. He’s powerful enough.
So after Wukong finished the journey to the west and decided to rebel again, BDK took this chance as a revenge to his last defeat, with other demon kings and severely maimed Wukong. Another wrong choice.
But that’s BDK’s brother so he went to carry his body. That’s when Wukong said why he was doing all this. BDK finally realised what he was fooled so badly. People like them, powerful big yaoguai without connections/control from the top, your existence is wrong.
WUKONG’s last word is don’t touch his relic. Whoever tied up to his relic won’t end well. That’s fate. But court of heaven knew better. You don’t want your yaoguai brothers to take your relics? Wonderful I’ll force them to take as prizes. If you don’t take, well that’s disobeying my order.
Some didn’t quite get it but BDK for sure get it. So what he did was swallow the biggest relic and just keep it in his stomach.
Some time later BDK’s son was clearly chained and demanding for the relic. He was born out of revenge and that’s the job he think he should complete. That’s why he said, you knew it all then why are you still their dog. The later part of the story is basically his son is trying to get the relic to launch the war against the court of heaven.
animation scene 1: Erlang shen split Wukong's body as a reward and give to 5 yaoguais whos involved in that fight (the 5 bosses you fought at end of each chapter).
Bull walking towards Wukong is the end of that battle which is also the beginning intro of this game.
Scene 2: after Wukong said 'you never made a right choice' the bull started to recall its memories of 4 events ---- 1.Fighting celestial court along side with Wukong before Journey to the west begins. 2. Celestial court slaughtered Redboy's whole race and left one spirit to put into Bull's wife's womb with that childbearing water, this is also before the journey. 3. Redboy found out his true form and wants revenge. 4.When the Journey to the west started, Bulls family was one of the 'road block' to the gang, the Bull chose to not give out the fan so fight began and he almost got killed by the gang and the court in the end (the bull head scene). So in all these 4 events the Bull never stood in the right side, Celestial court fight they lose so the court 'gifted' him a 'son', first wife was killed by the journey boys, his son killed himself.
Scene 3: Back from bulls memory, Wukong died.
In the animation when the Bull is fighting the court 2 stand out the one who deployed like a cage around the Bull and the one that slashed him and is riding like fire skates. Do you know who they are and are they potential for a DLC characters?

Ne Zha is not only potential for a DLC, but also for an entire 3A game, he is a young legend.
Bull helped in killing Wukong too. This is why he got a relic. His son was still hostage so he probably didn’t have a choice.

Wukong said Bull King has never made the right choice, or should be said, the right side.
Back then, Sun Wukong and Bull King were brothers and claimed themselves the title among the Seven Great Sages which was the seven most powerful Yaoguai Kings. While others were not mentioned much in the original novel JTTW, Bull King and Red Boy were actual trials set for the team of Tang Monk to overcome before reaching the enlightenment at Lingshan.
In this game, the first wrong choice he (Bull King) made was when he, with Wukong, decided to declare war with the Celestial Court. In the novel it was only Wukong. He then was repressed by Buddha for 500 years to atone himself until Tank Monk recruited him to the journey as a part of the destiny. In this version of the game, we can see he was fighting along with Bull King, and after the defeat of the Havoc in Heaven's Palace event, Bull King’s family was punished as his wife (Rakshasi, or Princess Iron Fan) was forced to bear a child by drinking water from the river, and they were restrained in their place.
The second wrong choice was when the team of Tang Monk encountered Bull King’s family and need the fan on their journey to the west. There Bull King chose to stand up against Wukong and the Court’s will again. This led to his total defeat as the second wife (a fox guai) was killed by Zhu Bajie, and his son (Red Boy) was sent to Guanyin to be a disciple in order to learn some manners. Wukong said to him that the only way out for the likes of them was to serve the right and have a position in the enlightenment, like Wukong became the Victorious Fighting Buddha. But when he heard that his second wife was killed, he became outraged and disobeyed, driving the force of the Celestial Court to oppress him once again. As a powerful Yaoguai King like Wukong, his head was cut multiple times in that fight by Ne Zha but he was not dead, however, he submitted to Heaven.
The third time was probably after the intro event of the game, as Wukong realized no matter what they did, the Court will always see them as “a transgression”, something that needed to be controlled and they will never be free. This time the Bull King chose to be on the side with the Court until the final moment of Wukong and heard what we viewed in the Chapter ending. This time, he still didnt steer clear of the relic as Wukong warned, which caused the ending of chapter 5: his son found out about his true identity and their past, demanded the relic for revenge, finally failed and suicided.
Anyway, Wukong understands his brother the Bull Demon King and saw through the world, but his brother is always one step behind in understanding the truth.
In the original mythology, wukong was so terrifying that the demon kings including the bull demon king pledged allegiance to him which is why wukong and the bull demon king were friends
