He literally has to be point blank range to execute that "one shot" whereas hitscans do the same thing more consistently, at range. I dont get it dude, support players are really delusional
@@masift1494 I think it's just that players overlook the fact that damage heroes are SUPPOSED to be able to kill supports, and there isn't much difference between doing it at range vs at a distance.
its because doom is tilting, u cant really do much when u get caught in a 125 e + uppercut and shots combo (support). At least when receive shots from an ashe u have time to react, but the biggest weapon of doom is making people cry and rage :)
@@felipegl U actually have a lot of time to react to doom when he slams cuz its so loud and even when he lands he is ez too punish, this isn't the case with a widow or a hanzo

Exactly. Apparently hook 1 shot, flash fan, widow/hanzo headshot, etc. are fine but when a doom has to manage to get to someone without getting stunned and then use all of his abilities to kill one person, theres a problem

diff isnt when you kill them its when you do more than them and technically KD killed 4 that fight eventhough ZBRA got 3 aswell
frankly when 2 good dooms face each other most of it comes down to which team handles it better
@@LoneCastaway Couldn't have said that better myself. How effective you are on doom can only be so much when the other team counters you well enough. However if they don't deal with you, you can just win the game for your team

@@nyuex1317 He's not wrong tho. flash+FTH+melee is 355 damage if I'm correct (300 fth, 25 flashbang, 30 melee). Only if a doom just ulted multiple people can he survive.. doom has to put himself in risk to get value, often just ending up trading, while a cree sitting safely in his team can 2-tap squishies, put way more pressure on shields, and also has a stun to harass tanks/ fuck up flankers/dives. Just look at top 1 played heroes in T500 players. 95% of em are cree. He's overtuned af.

If you land a max slam usually you have to do a rollout to get to a place to do it and even then you uppercut and have to shoot them unless you’re nanod, damage boosted, or they are discorded

pretty sure "E plus Shift" isn't a one shot lol that is multiple abilities plus at least one left click to kill

He never said they were 1 shot abilities, he said they had 1 shot “capabilities”, meaning the two of them combined 1 shot. I know that sort of takes away the whole “1 shot” aspect of one shooting but I think he means more in terms of when the two are combined quickly enough that insta kill from full health

@@LEO_M1 but a soldier burst takes around a second or two to kill, the doom combo takes a fraction of a second. I think that’s why he called them “one shot”

@@joemamaisobama5788 brig Is literally immortal vs doom and lucio is tricky to dive. Ana can use sleep dart, moira can use fade, and bap is op. Zen is the only truly vulnerable target.
@@ryusnipes6284 and non of those characters actually counters doomfist I genuinely hope you know that. I’m a 300 hour doom otp and I used to be in denial too. Just cuz doomfist cant obliterate the entire support line everytime you go in(like zenyatta)doesn’t mean that character counters him. With that said the people who complain about doomfist but plays a character that counters or is neutral to doomfist is also in denial. Sole problem with doomfist is that since he’s a misery to play it seems like he’s dogshit and since he’s a misery to play against people would rather just have him nerfed rather than play against him with their teams he’d never be buffed which is fine dooms balanced-he requires team work, brain cells to known when to go in, and brain cells and team work to counter which...team game...overwatch...monke...There will always be people who want doom nerfed even more and that’s fine as long as blizzard doesn’t actually nerf him.

it’s a bit of both really, sometimes it intuition and sometimes it’s random

@@OGEdger but dude literally doesn't know that you can't just slam uppercut, you gotta slam, shoot (while aiming and getting some of the bullets on their head) then uppercut, aim, shoot them again while they're in the air moving from momentum, and then use your actual one-shot ability (rocket punch) to escape lol

8:59 "he should not have one shot capabilities using his E and shift" - well that's immediately TWO abilities and it usually takes 2 shots after ( out of the 4 shots he has ) to secure the kill, so that's like 90% of dooms kit. Not to mention all the random shit that could go wrong just trying to get that 1 or 2 kills. ugh, doodoo brain doom haters man.

A lot of people say that Doomfist shouldn't be able to combo and kill people. He has to use abilities that have cooldowns.Yet there is Widowmaker who one shots people with her gun. No abilities...
at range too. Totally balanced. But a hero getting in your face and having to kill you with basically only abilities that have a *cooldown* to one shot, is somehow broken. You know its crazy, considering how "broken" Doomfist is, I'm surprised I don't see more of him played at the top of the ladder. Maybe it's because hitscans are just fundamentally better, but gee idk LOL (people are delusional if they think doom is op, hitscans are so much better and its so obvious by looking at t500 leaderboard)

It’s insane how even at top tier people blame their inability to shoot, stun, or just hear a doomfist on his ability to “1 shot” even tho his combos are ez to break and his punch is loud af and takes time to charge and is his main source of mobility
