- I've made a 47-minute dry fly film about the desperate chase of happiness and the trout of my dreams.
It's a film that can be considered "mid" due to my poor overall video making skills.
This movie contains some winter scenes, white-throated dippers, spring mayflies, trout-filled creek, Swedish mountains and the damn grayling.
It's like every other fly fishing movie out there, but it is not quite so good as the other movies!
This film is filmed between 2021-2022 and heavily inspired by @RolfNylinder and @JazzAndFlyFishing movies.

Watch your vid, reminded me why I fly fish. Even if I go for 2 hours and catch nothing, I still have the enjoyment of nature, the calmness of standing in a stream, the quiet, the piece of mind of being one with your surroundings. Lovely video. You got some beautiful images of the Trout and Grayling, it's very impressive. And your love for Fly Fishing really shines through. I am a Dry Fly Fisherman myself, from Wales, so I completely understand the long winter blues. But, I'd like to make one thing clear. You're not a loser. You are human. Just like the rest of us. Sometimes we are happy, and sometimes we are sad. Just like how sometimes the fish are feeding on the surface, and sometimes they are feeding below the surface. It is all part of the sweet and sour nectar of life. Keep fly fishing dude, and keep making videos, great quality.

Great film and so many thoughts are the same that go through fishermans heads . It's always the way you find a feeding fish and you got your rod tangled in a tree or a bush and snap hour leader and the fish is gone 😂

Im not sure if it is still about catching the fish anymore or just the other stuff around the fish, a rise far away, adventure, mayflies, nature and wildlife ect... it is complicated to be a fly fisher sometimes, but I will try to make more movies when I'm on my fishing adventures 😄❤️

Always can nymph when trout aren’t rising buddy. Even throw streamers for the big brown .
Yes indeed you probably catch bigger fish with nymph or streamers as well. But the peak of happiness is greater when catching a trout on a dry fly 😁❤️.

I must disagree with you. There is nothing mediocre about this film, instead it is actually quite great. Loved the story of the Dippers. Great work! 👍
The sections from the southern part of Sweden, is that Västra Götaland by any chance? Reminds me of the landscape where I grew up, I now live in Skåne which is beautiful in other ways but man, how I miss these forests.

I see you struggling and I know the feelings. All you need to do to enjoy flyfishing so much more is to take 50% more time before you start casting. Look around, find that googd angle, visualise the cast before you start...
