  • Three weeks ago, while the rest of the nation was gripped by America's Cup angst, Campbell Live's Jendy Harper headed inland from Hanmer Springs to Molesworth Station. It is so vast it is larger than Stewart Island and one side of the property records an average yearly rainfall of 600mm, while the other side nets 3 metres!
Its history is just as diverse, and it is now well documented in a book just released and to celebrate its launch, Campbell Live was invited to join Molesworth's spring muster.

In another life, in another land I was Molesworth bound too, once. It was when I had a good team and saddle, float and hack , before the diesel in my veins raised its deafening roar, and the big country called.......just saying.
