Big Hi from Australia Freddie! Love your videos mate. Just beautiful quality and your doing what many just dream of! Take care over there in Spain on the Bonnie.. Awesome. Cheers Nik
The Himalayan is a good bike to travel on ( providing you're not in a hurry ) Also, great MPG. Last 2 years, I've been to Europe on my Himalayan. 2021, I went through France and down to the south of Spain, coming back by ferry from Santander. 2022, took the channel tunnel, then rode down to Croatia through several countries, and through The Alps and The Dolomites. Both trips I rode the back roads, absolutely no toll roads, partly because I wanted to see the countryside, and partly because the Himalayan doesn't really like motorway speeds. Next month, I'm off around Ireland on my C125 Super Cub from South Bucks, so once again will be keeping to the back roads. Planning on taking a coastal route clockwise. It'll be around 1800 - 2000 miles door to door, I think. Looking forward to seeing how your trip goes, Freddie, as I'm planning on going to Africa next year. Sorry to see that you were seasick. Never had it myself, but, then again, always had a very smooth crossing.
@@johnbellamy6449 Hope it's a smooth crossing for me. Not looking forward to a rough crossing, and then finding out that I do suffer from seasickness. I'm going from Fishguard to Rosslare, so not too long a crossing and, hopefully it will be smooth in June. 🤞
Fabulous content Freddie! Your journey must be taking so much longer with all the ride-by shots you're adding! Thanks for the effort - they add so much more to the video. Keep safe 👍🏾👍🏾
Looks a fantastic adventure, best of luck. Just an aside my wife thought the book you were reading was titled “swinging in Bali” until I pointed out it was “snowing in Bali” for a few moments her opinion of you hit rock bottom 😂
It's the music. Love your content Freddie. I can't really get in to any other MC travel stuff anymore and I think your choice of music is to blame. The 1st piece used here for the ferry boarding captures that dreamy deeply satisfied feeling one gets when embarking on a new adventure. Kudos man.
this is why i love watching your content. I just don't just get to enjoy the ride. I get stories and history, and experience. Sending the little support I can, all the way here from the Philippines.
Ohh Freddie, the Spanish are having you on! They obviously know how popular you are in the world 😂😂😂 Fabulous experience & appreciate your own efforts in filming! Monika could very well be out of a job😉 So glad you’ll be catching up with her on your return trip 🤙⭐️

Absolutely love what you are doing! Just starting riding again after 20 years and have an itch that needs scratching to travel from Perth Australia to Galway Ireland. Lots of prep required and saving over next several years, bloody awesome Bike too you have 👍😎
Brilliant video Freddie, I don’t know how you have the confidence to do some of the things you do but you’re inspirational. Having watched all the big TH-cam vloggers I can honestly say you’re the best.
@Freddie Dobbs, I've just resubscribed to you after a hiatus of a year or so. Fabulous series so far. Thank you for continuing to make such incredible video content. Safe travels dear chap. All the best from East Kent, England 🙏😊 Mark

Loved that Freddie - sorry I'm late in viewing, been a bit busy on my own tour!! Fabulous pace to your videos, great to chill too after a busy day......thank you for your efforts, you make it look easy, and that's the hard bit.....
Superb video! Great to see you enjoying my adopted country. Arrived in 1983 and been based in Madrid ever since. Cáceres is a great little city. Enjoy the rest of the ride south to the desert!
I'm pleased you showed the ferry and route; I'll be following in your tracks in 6 months to a year, except we'll have to do it in a hired van with all our stuff, and motorbike onboard. Looking forward to part 2 👍🏼👍🏼
When I see the shot like at the small pond thing, I can’t help but think of the set up. You rode past but notice this cool location, so turn around and ride in. Get off, kit off. It’s hot. You unpack your camera and tripod, find a spot and set up. You put your kit back on. Press record. You walk back to the bike. Get on. Get back off. Helmet off, jacket off, do your bit. Finish your bit, have an actual break while packing the camera away, get kitted up, ride away. The dedication is real, haha.
So inspiring, Freddie. I'm currently enjoying my first week with my first ever bike, and I can't wait to do similar stuff. Cheers brother, have a great trip!
Excellent watch. I've been told the new ferry is a longer crossing than the older one, but looks good. Love the emptiness of the Spanish roads, allowing you to maintain a good average speed without slowing. Perfect biking country. Keep going with the Spanish practice! It's worth it. Ride safe. Happy travels 👍
Superb! Laughed out loud about the green tree. I thought it was ony the French who enjoyed making us Brits squirm! I agree with the other commments, it is looking like you don't need Monica for the filming - a pleasure to watch.
Thanks for this very nice vlog. I am not a rider, but truly find every one of your videos interesting. You have a way of speaking that injects tension and excitement into everything you say-a rare talent indeed-so it’s fun to watch you, whether you’re excited about a bike, a scenic view, or a piece of cake. Thanks also for all the inspiring videos during your Tenerife stay. Living in Canada, it is a long and expensive trip for us but my wife and I decided we needed to check the island out based on your many lovely videos. We were not disappointed!
The chaps in the services were a bit unkind to you, Freddie. That's never happened to me in Spain. Whenever I torture the language by trying to speak it, I've had nothing but encouragement and it's started some great conversations and interactions. I've only just discovered your channel and I'm really enjoying the content. Great video and beautifully filmed and edited.
Great step by step travelogue. Given me some confidence to do do the same. Have been procrastinating about doing it solo….especially as I’m back to motorcycling after a 34 year gap!
Last year we went from Dorset to the nordkapp on a Himalayan and my partner on her enfield classic 500, no problem the nice pace added to the trip as we could enjoy the views, we stuck to the smaller roads, an excellent trip. Have a great trip Freddie.
Hey Freddie, love the video. Just want to say thanks for all of these, I did some motorbike camping trips around East Anglia and Wales with my hammock after covid and your videos in Tenerife inspired me to go out there and do something very similar. Came back from my most recent trip where I rented a Tracer 700 last week and even managed to fit a couple of days on La Gomera which is a paradise for riding (not so much for hammock camping because you can't get above the clouds, had to sleep on the floor one night). Always appreciate the videos!
Every time I finish watching your videos, I immediately go downstair to get on my bike and start riding even if it's just to go to the nearest mini market.
What a journey! Always enjoying these videos! I'm currently getting my motorbike drivers liscense and these vlogs just make me want to start traveling on my bike as soon as I get my hands on my own, keep it up and cheers from germany!
Very excited for you and for me and other subs. This is relevant to Uk bikers and being English. I used to stay with friends in Caceres. U shud see it at xmas. Beautifully preserved piece of history

I find this video as one of the best of yours, absolutely amazing. And You drove for a so long road in one day, unbelievable, I should be tired with the half of kilometres. That joke with the barman about "the verde por favor" in Spanish language and then "ah, green tea?" has no price.

In a world seemingly full of Adventure bikes you do this on a very simple and relatively old Bonnie, I love that. Looking forward to the next episode.
Keep it simple man. 😎
As a Spaniard, hearing someone call an Spanish omelette, an egg and potatoe tart is hard hahaha. I hope you have a wonderful stay in Spain :)
Hahaha, yeah, and to say that Tortilla de Patata is "popular" is the world's greatest understatement.
Just like a lemon 🍋curd tart 😂

his butchered pronunciation of caceres shouldve pissed ye off surely
How was his pronunciation of té verde? Not enough B I imagine
