Awesome video. New to Chromebook. I can access messages from Android and use android data. I got the 2 ticks ,smart lock is on both devices. I don't have notification on phone when Chromebook is on. So I still have to type my Chromebook password. I have moto G9 play on Android 11.

If your using Google contacts just go to google and type Google contacts. But if you don't have it install. And make sure your contacts are in google. But I think you still import it

I'm not sure if it has anything to do with how old the device is. I have used mine for five years now and it was not new, or, so I believe. I can't connect anything wirelessly on my Chromebook at all even with the cast enabled.
