Honestly this is some of the best damn content out there. Tv/internet or otherwise. For real man. Keep up the work. Politics be damned. My hat is off to you.
I've listened to all of Mr Christies recountings on this, his personal channel. he has a sharp mind, thus a sharp memory. I now realise why he was President of a very powerful Hells Angels Chapter for so long. He is 'in charge' of himself, and that is vital as a leader of hard-bitten men. He has strong precense; an aura of great self-containment, in my opinion.
SOTD - Sittin’ On The Doorstep & with a cup of coffee & waiting for George in the morning. I think Sonny could’ve told that lady that if you were a little boy riding his bicycle and the first time you saw and HEARD HELLS ANGELS (or any other local club) ride by you, you wanted to be riding with them. It’s really a sight that has a lasting, sometimes life long, impression. I was one of those kids because my uncle hung around with a local cub and at 5 he put me up on the handlebars and sped down the road and I loved it. Some kids grow up and wind up doing it too. I wanted to, but life led me in a direction that didn’t allow me to stay localized in one area for very long - but I did ride Harleys over the years when I was in one place long enough to enjoy that aspect of freedom. Over the years, and with hindsight now, I’ve come to realize that that patch comes with many responsibilities and many unrealized paradoxes. Outlaws yes, but always with the law in the rear view mirrors. Brothers yes, but you may have to watch your back with them as well. It’s a constant mixed bag between loyalty and treachery, but what path in life isn’t like that? You’re supposed to live by a code in that 1% club life, but federal codes supersede it and the system sees the patch on your back & superimposes a target over it. Glad a man with fortitude, a former “Diamond” the likes of George Christie, who lived by that 1% code, survived and can sit down and share the history and the wisdom he’s gathered over a half a century regarding one of the most intriguing & mysterious to outsiders (citizens), and sometimes infamous aspects of American history - 1%er clubs. It seems that everything in that world became complicated and difficult when politics and money became a higher priority than just riding Harleys down the highway. Way I see it all now (in my 60’s) and looking back on life, and “the law” versus “the code” and the possible outcomes, statutes of limitations run out in several different ways, but can manifest a plethora of undesirable results. A. You get away with any infractions by riding out the time and avoiding a prosecution. B. LEOs run out of money and don’t have enough against you to get their collar. C. Witness reluctance. “Sudden memory issues.” D. You die and your statutes run out before the goverment’s does. What a life you lived George. Thanks for sharing it with us.
@ If you’re guilty it’s a really good time to be “absent minded.” I have a neighbor who witnessed an auto accident years ago and told law enforcement what he saw. The next 5 years were spent in endless depositions and court appointments as a witness. He said if he had it to do over again he “wouldn’t have seen anything.” Then of course, there’s always “snitches get stitches.” Sometime people are forced to do what’s morally “right” to do and what’s “convenient” to do. Choices we all make.
Growing up I had family in the HA. I saw first hand how these men were. All this is fake glory. These men were not role models to be followed. They did a lot of really bad things. They treated women horribly. As a kid I knew I was gonna be smarter than this. I got an education and went into law enforcement. I will say this for them though, my family members that were HA were proud of me for becoming a deputy sheriff. 30 years later and I am retired and they have all passed away. Why anyone would spend most of their adult lives in prison for a club is beyond me. There is no glory in being locked up.
George watch the beginning of this video look to the left of your shoulder stack of wood laying in there that bottom piece of wood looks like the rough outline of the death head and wing it’s discolored so it’s a lighter color. You can see it plain as day.
Can you talk about or know two men named pootie and Lg two friends of my fathers . Both of them worked for willie Nelson and i think one or both were from Ventura . My dad was a hippie met them at a rodeo willie was playing in the 70s in northern California they became lifelong friends. Pops also had a solid friend from sonoma named Charlie Turner also i believe to be in the club.
Good to hear the real deal stuff from someone that was actually there. Do you have any good stories about Evil Knievel, Hunter Thompson, Geraldo Revira vs Hells Angels worth sharing. Bet you do.. haha
I don't want to comment to much on this stuff.. George is entertaining as hell. I really like the guy but I know enough about the life style to know your friends are just as dangerous as your enemies... there is no statue of limitations on murder. Im no expert though maybe there is if it happened before they changed that law? George doing linguistic karate is fun to watch 😂
When your a biker, you have to worry about your enemies, sometimes your brother, you could be a victim of house keeping. Its a hard life , then you also have to watch the police, politicians and news.
Would like to hear stories of old when prospects had to do various things that would eventually earn 'em their full patch. I know of someone who had to wear a pigs head on a chain for any events or runs...😎
Hey George, can you tell me about those two Georgia bikers that came to join the club and they found them up in Washington or somewhere in whale I’m just saying I’m not I’m just wondering about that
Hey George, do you ever know Alex and Cave Creek? I think he came from Oakland with Sonny I was just wondering he had a sister in Georgia said he couldn’t visit.
I can give you my word on God that I've never wanted to be any other man except for myself. I don't say that with zero arrogance and total humility. On anothrr note. Since I was a child ive said, " if you treat me good, ill treat you so much better. If you treat me bad, ill treat you so much worse. If you push me far enough, I'll inteoduce you to the Satan."
George me boy, there are no Statute of Limitations concerning murder. By the looks of some of your interior decorating I'm guessing that you were somewhat of a outdoorsman ( a hunter of wildlife. Good eats) yes or no.
sux jesse lost out seemed like a stand up dude ya catch a case for puttin in work and now your a liability to the people who asked ya to do the work thats when brotherhood turns into organized crime
Let's get an episode on "Jim Jim Brandes" the boy so nice they named him twice! 😂 We'd love to hear your take on him and any stories you may have regarding him.

I'm just commenting in order to be the 81st comment...love ya man
I used to have a colleague that frequently said, “I don’t know nuthin’ about nuthin.” Words well spoken.
Why even say that - you make yourself look guilty

Ole Sonny loved him some Sonny -
Hi George
Hi George. Why do you think SB isn’t buried with other former Oakland members? Thanks 🙏
Great question👍🏼👍🏼 I hope he does a video on this question or brings it up in one of his videos…
That is a easy answer.
❤❤❤❤❤
Mr Christie has anyone reached to you about a story you shared pissed it was shared?

George, have you ever thought about having a conversation with other members who are out of the club as well? We all know there is enough of them :)
I have a question for you George. What would happen if Big John asked you to do something against the law and you refused to do it?
I remember calendars being sold showing a member and their bike can't remember the charter?
Cave Creek Arizona
Damn, that would be a great idea, would definitely be getting a few of them if they produced them…
Never ever been to california or Arizona.nice dry weather.
Sonny 😊
Purchased a FTW cap from the organization back in the late 90s.

RICO is still unfair, just Chris Wray.
Jesse told me his original plan was to go to medical school and become a doctor but nature takes its course. I guess it does.

The oakview bbq place,it has a bar ? It was JJ' when i lived there. Wouldn't of been mooselodge behind post office, they generally dont have bouncers
was it moose or deer?.. i dont recall but have been there a few times in the 90s
@martinedwards4522 deer lodge is in Ojai proper ,the moose lodge is behind PO .
@ and the wheel?
the deer lodge or the wheel
Bodies up the road? Or the place that burned down on the 33? By the rock wall by the tunnels.
@ yeah that place the rock wall
@@martinedwards4522 Wheeler Springs...I think that was called the wheel. I never new the name of it.
@ been at least 25 30 years since ive rode up there
@@martinedwards4522 I go by there 6-7 times a year to get into the back county. I just read the history on it. Pretty neat.
It dies with them 😂
Rule nr ☝️......never share club business with the outside world......EVERRR ! Even when you're out bad....
Even stuff that happened a long time ago I would think that the club wouldn't care?
Do you think he would be on his 21st vid if they really gaf? George knows how fine the line is.
