What you could do with Brentin(?)'s DIY submarine, you could add a couple of pivot points on the back, and attach the propulsion to there with some steering gears and what not.
Brentens mind is on a whole other level when it come to creating things.

One thing you may try is to hook up a hose that you could exhale out of so your breath would go outside. It would be a cheap and easy way to prevent carbon dioxide from building up in there.
