Removing VW Golf 5 Radio Installing Double DIN Clarion NX302E + CAN Bus Interface

In this video, we show you how the factory installed VW radio expanded and replaced by a higher-quality double-DIN Clarion NX302E. Since the VW Golf V built in 2003-2008 has no ignition plus 12V behind the radio, a CAN bus interface CB-59810 is used, which provides this 12V voltage again. Without the ignition plus the radio can not be switched on via the ignition lock.

This interface does not support a multifunction steering wheel!
Do you have a model with multifunction steering wheel, you need an interface that also supports the steering wheel control. These are radio manufacturers dependent!
