So crazy to think that people like Labonte, Marlin, Rudd, Kyle Busch, and Kahne were consistently around the low 20s and upper 30s in the standings for a large portion of the year. 2005 was a wild season.
Petty was running in 23rd position with his teammate Jeff Green the #43 in front, And Tony Raines from behind. So, I'm guessing he got turned by Tony Raines in the #37.
@@phoenixfire257 but yeah, you're right. Watching 400 laps of green flag boring racing at Bristol is so much better than how it was before 2007. The attendance really backs that up
Racings just not racing any more, I stopped watching nascar when they brought out the nascar of tomorrow. Too many rules and regulations, let them race again, all 43 all the time!
2005 2007 And 2008 My favorite years for Nascar
2005 was the most wreck-filled NASCAR season From the Cup, Xfinity, and Craftsman Truck series combined.
Caution record for the Cup seties in the 600 that year
@@NolanRempel 22 cautions in the Coca-Cola 600.
2007 is second place
This year was just a complete nightmare for Bobby Labonte :/
His only chance seemed to be at the 600

Man How time flies 19 years ago!
Can’t wait for 2006
how did Petty crash at Dega? was there ever a fan video or replay of it?
No replay was shown, looked right through to the end. It will be forever a mystery

Charlotte is amazing now
@@therobbinsnest45and yet you watch every single one of them because you’re a good little sheep that lives to bitch about everything.
What About 2006 Cup Series, Truck Series, Busch Series Crash?
I’ll be going all the way up to the present day.
