This popped up on my recommended, and I'm so glad it did. I heard of Xdinary Heroes, but I never really went and checked them out entirely. This cover almost made me cry because I miss day6 so much. I really connect with their music and am always praying that someday they all get together again and make more beautiful music that touches people's hearts (Sungjin still being in the military, and Jae leaving still makes me sad).
@@svndinn Xdinary Heroes are so talented they have some amazing b-sides as well. Sungjins going to be back soon he will do a meet&greet at a cafe or something on day6 7th anniversary so k-mydays get to see him they are so lucky. i wish jae could go but he’s probably busy doing his own thing :/

And yeah, Jae is kinda busy doing his own thing right now since he just finished the HITC concert a few days ago (plus he has lots of unreleased songs he has to make into studio versions etc.). I'm glad that Sungjin is gonna be back soon since his military enlistment is over though, but I'm not a k-myday so I'm not as lucky as them lol.

They made this song theirs, they sang it so well. It doesn't feel like a cover, it's so nice and mellow and they all have such pretty voices. Im glad they're Day6 "little brothers" cos i look forward to hearing more day6 covers of the songs i love

No disrespect, but this is 100% a cover. There is no difference from the original. All the melody and instrument parts are the same. Still a good cover though, but it just didnt bring anything new.

I used to be in a band in highschool, it somehow exploded between us and I had to continue solo for a fews years during my studies. Now I'm 26, working in marketing, and god... These guys are making me think about the past, how much I loved being on stage, how much I miss playing guitar, bass and singing in a band... I wonder what would've happened if I had enough courage to follow this path. Don't get me wrong, I love my life rn, but idk... Music was once so big in my life, I kind of regret not pushing it further. I still play and sing tho, but it doesn't feel the way it felt before. I know I now have no future anymore in music, it's too late for that, but Xdinary Heroes hit so deep, their sound just resonate in my heart and I can't help wishing to go back on stage every time I listen to them. It's the first time I try to make the instrumental parts out of samples instead of just strumming 4 chords on my guitar, it's very hard and unusual for me but I'm trying my best :)

ode's not just an awesome rapper but really knows how to perfect a vocalization as the second voice. its really hard as an alto to blend with a tenor (or soprano). all i can say is that he really did well and blended so good with jooyeon's voice. jungsu's vocals always feel like heaven. all the members are so good especially during live. i watched them sing this whole cover and i cried because i was so lucky to hear it in a concert. it was overwhelming. i love you xh from the bottom of my heart and i hope you get the recognition you deserve from the world.
A lot of people don't appreciate other members' vocals because Jooyeon's and Jungu's are just that good, but if they were in another group everyone would crazy over it.

And that I'm not alone, I'm not the only one who felt that way. To be specific for this song, I can't get Jae's voice out of my head, his voice is the first thing I'll ever recognize when it comes to this song. I missed Day6 and I hope I'll see them soon in person. YoungK, Sungjin, Wonpil, Dowoon and Jae, I missed them all. 😭

2:42 JOOYEON AND O.DE HARMONY IS EVERYTHING I EVER NEEDED I know we always talk about how amazing Jungsu and Jooyeon's vocals are which they obviously deserve but I feel like we as a collective need to praise O.de more. He usually has this really strong voice that they often open songs with but oh my god when he sand the higher harmony with such a soft voice I just absolutely melted. I'm so in love with Gaon's softer, lower tone here too. Just overjoyed by how well they did this cover and at this point I think it's just tradition for jype groups to cover Zombie. Edit: Also I've been thinking for our upcoming fandom name we could be called 'X-ray'! And it would carry the following meanings: 1) X means the fans are just as extraordinary as the heroes 2) It means XH have the superpower to be able to see through the fans' heart and portray our hopes and wishes through their music 3) It is an intimate promise that our relationship is built on being transparent and honest with one another If you like the sound of 'X-ray' as much as I do please fill in the Google form with my suggestion and hopefully studioJ will notice it ^^ The form submission closes on August 29!

agree! i'm glad that we get to hear jooyeon and o.de's harmonization in this cover 🥺 his soft voice is really stood out and that's the first thing that i noticed, and it's something new for me cause i usually hear jungsu's and jooyeon's one. gaon's lower register is really pretty too, seems like he's comfortable singing in lower voice. afterall they did a great job 🥺🥺
Who’s the one at 3:01? Is he the the keyboardist or synth? I think he is Jungsu, am I right? Anyway, I love his rich vibrato and vocal smooth texture. I think he’ll be my bias. His voice stood out the most in this cover.

I feel like sobbing. They did such an honor to one of my favourite songs with this great cover. Xdinary heroes are showing unique variety of skills, covering different genres and as a newer group actually have an own recognizable sound. I know we always talk about how amazing Jungsu and Jooyeon's vocals are which they obviously deserve but I feel like we as a collective need to praise O.de more. He usually has this really strong voice that they often open songs with but oh my god when he sand the higher harmony with such a soft voice I just absolutely melted. I'm so in love with Gaon's softer, lower tone here too. Just overjoyed by how well they did this cover and at this point I think it's just tradition for jype groups to cover Zombie.
Edit: Also I've been thinking for our upcoming fandom name we could be called 'X-ray'! And it would carry the following meanings:
1) X means the fans are just as extraordinary as the heroes
2) It means XH have the superpower to be able to see through the fans' heart and portray our hopes and wishes through their music
3) It is an intimate promise that our relationship is built on being transparent and honest with one another

agree! i'm glad that we get to hear jooyeon and o.de's harmonization in this cover 🥺 his soft voice is really stood out and that's the first thing that i noticed, and it's something new for me cause i usually hear jungsu's and jooyeon's one. gaon's lower register is really pretty too, seems like he's comfortable singing in lower voice. afterall they did a great job 🥺🥺
Who’s the one at 3:01? Is he the the keyboardist or synth? I think he is Jungsu, am I right? Anyway, I love his rich vibrato and vocal smooth texture. I think he’ll be my bias. His voice stood out the most in this cover.

can we all take time to appreciate how much hard work they have done for their comeback? we got content nearly everyday, covers, choreos, live clip, whatnot. i'm so thankful to them, and just as i expected, before even watching this cover i knew it was beautiful, thank you XH for your many month-long hard work.

I feel like sobbing. They did such an honor to one of my favourite songs with this great cover. Xdinary heroes are showing unique variety of skills, covering different genres and as a newer group actually have an own recognizable sound. When they joke around it's fun, yhen when they perform you sense they've put a lot into it, into music. Bonus for the stylists that had a great stike with the outfits
