  • First time hearing a Cyclone in person. It is super loud. I wish the test was longer (even though I was aware it was going to be short), but in the end, it was still worth experiencing a Cyclone siren. Yes I spelled "communicators" wrong.

    Years ago they used to do alert and attack. I have a video when they still did that

      It's actually the same siren, just in an omni-directional setup. Same, chopper, rotor, and motor.

    this specific one was produced in 1992 making it a Hormann America siren

      @Siren1000T1  ปีที่แล้ว

      No. It has a ACA sticker on it. Plus, Hormann bought ACA in 1993.

      @@radiosnmore1225 That would be the northern one near the FD. This one and the southern one at WPGC are ACAs.

      @OC Sirens - Nope. These were INSTALLED in 1992. The actual manufacture date was likely way earlier. Fulton Siren Services usually installs refurbished ACA/ASC sirens with homemade controls unless specified that the customer wants it stock from factory. When Fulton installed these, these were most likely refurbed C-125s from before '92 (check out that coat of grey paint, signifying a Fulton refurb) therefore making these conventional, run of the mill Cyclones. I do want to say, however, that the Hormann/ACA rebrands DO exist and are out there, but they are literally the same products with no difference between the original and rebrand. Only difference is the year they were made.

      @ddoakman46 Idk, but all I know is the Bensenville sirens are run of the mill Cyclones. Nothing special at all.
