Great Tips! I’ll definitely be implementing these on my next shoot!
Let me know how it goes!!
Tip #2 was solid. I don't know why I never thought about setting markers on the floor for them to stand on. Well done, sir!
Thank you!! Thanks for watching
Helpful tips, being more comfortable in front of the camera will only get better with time. Keep going.
Thank you!!!!🙏🏾
I think you missed a very important tip and that is don’t shoot down on your subject matter do what you were doing shoot up at them then the model in the clothing looks very impressive! Nice job!
That’s definitely a great tip !!
You mean camera angle? What should it be. Please elaborate.
Great tips, well presented; concise and to the point. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
Great information! Looking forward to the next video brotha! Much Respect!
Thank you for watching !!
Great video Chad!
thank you!
great video! That tip with keeping the subject in the same spot, just did a shoot with 3,000 photos and the model moved spots so much (didn't notice until the edit). I will never make that mistake again.
Yeah it’s definitely a nightmare !!
Good advice Chad - thanks for sharing - have my first "on location" fashion shoot next month so I'm hoovering up all the tips and tricks I can find here on youtube :-)
You got it !
Outstanding video! Thoroughly explained, practical and useable tips with great results! Great job!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great tips man!
Thank you so much 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
thank you
good stuff brother. Keep up the great work
Thanks, will do!
Great tips! Would I get a similar result in replacing the scrim for just bouncing the light off the ceiling/back wall?
It honestly depends on how big your studio is and the colors of the walls. You would have to experiment around with it but I’m sure you can get similar results
Ty For this video. Very Helpful
Glad it was helpful!
Nice Tips Chad, Thanks
Any time!
Love it brother. you did a great job. I'm a fan
Thank you for watching !🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Great tips and video.
Glad it was helpful!
Dope tips homie!
Appreciate it!
Please share your camera settings for this shoot and what was your white balance set to? Thanks for this helpful video.
Great video!!! I haven’t seen the Paul c lights in a while! Great work!
They’re still kicking 🤣
@@chadlawsonphotos yeah those b400 was very popular for a while. I was wondering did they ever upgrade to flash with hss and they finally did nice! Keep being the videos!
Really great info!! What’s that crane thing you had the light on?
Thank you! It’s a chimera light boom arm. Attached to a matthews combo stand
great video bro keep it up
Appreciate it!
Good job Bro!
Thank you!!
Definitely been wanting to buy a scrim, but i'll try to homemade one first just so i can get a feel for it. Great video man!
Just grab some pvc pipes and sheet and you good to go!
Good Episode!
it would be great to look for the whole light set up of your set :( I want to know a lot more of your setup
I’ll make a video showing the light setup
❤ Good info! Appreciate it
Any time!
These were useful tips.
The tip on how much power you need for a light will help when shopping for a light. Getting a wired light vs. a wireless battery-powered light will save a lot of money.
Do you have a preferred lens for e-commerce photography?
Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
My preferred all times lens is a 24-70 sigma art
@@chadlawsonphotos Thanks for the lens recommendation.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
great tips
Glad you like them!
Was this a two light setup?? Strem/main light & umbrella/background light??
So I had one light hit the scrim, the 2nd light with the umbrella is actually angled down to add some fill light to the legs/feet area. While the scrim does cover the whole body the legs/feet area does not get as much light. So I add a second light to provide a little extra umph
@@chadlawsonphotos oh ok good to know, thanks for the upload
Keep going 🔥
Thanks 🔥
thanks for the tips!
Thank you for watching !!
hey from birmingham.
Thank you for watching !
Curious how you (personally) color balance your shots. Do you use a grey card or colorchecker?
I used to use a Grey card but to be honest I use the same exact studio for each shoot and majority of my clients color variations don’t change too often so I default to my usual settings .
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
COLOR IS KEY! Calibrite ColorChecker if you can.
Definitely
I greatly appreciate you Bro🙏🏾
No problem ! Thanks for watching !
Thanks
Welcome
Nice Video!!! Sub'd!!!
Thank you!!!
Nice
Thanks
No one said you need to light evenly from top to bottom. One model step back ain't gonna change the whole game. WATTAGE ain't gonna light up a whole scrim, it's the size of light that determines the quality of light hitting that scrim.
Great info thank you!
thanks u ~
No problem !!
So the light source is from the one behind that screen only?
In this particular video yep. But checkout part 2 on my Channel, I now incorporate 3 lights
what lens do you shoot with ?
On this shoot i used a sigma 24-70
