On the way from Nara to Yoshino, I stopped at Horyuji Temple and Imai Town.
Horyu-ji Temple, built in 607, is the oldest existing wooden structure in the world.
It was registered as a World Heritage site in 1993.
Both the buildings and the cherry blossoms are beautiful.
Imai-cho is known for its old townscape.
Although not so famous, it is a quiet town where you can take a leisurely stroll.
奈良から吉野へ向かう途中、法隆寺と今井町に立ち寄りました。
法隆寺は607年に建立された現存する世界最古の木造建築群です。
1993年に世界遺産に登録されました。
建物も桜も美しいですね。
今井町は古い町並みで知られています。
あまり有名ではありませんが、静かな町でのんびり散歩ができました。
