Wow, I am the same way about this weather. In my part of the world it has not been below 90 F for about 4 days. I am trying to be on my game. My dad passed away last November 17 2021. I really have not cried hysterically about it yet. I promised him I would be strong for my little sister and mom. I am physically and mentally exhausted. Your videos bring me peace 🕊️. Who would believe I needed & enjoyed your TH-cam from 2 years ago. It's August 2, 2024 and very hot with little rain. Lots of dragging the water hose around hoping to keep the growing things growing. Also with the world today as it is you may not have imagined 2 years ago. The world seems unfriendly toward one another. I pray, I hope, I reach out to Him and he reaches back. Summer in South Africa is meant to be paradise, but I have always struggled with the never ending heat. It is also not like Vietnam or Indonesia but it is more than I can handle. I am very grateful for every breeze every single drop of rain. And this year we are starting to grow enough food to live off of, so it is exciting, but there is a lot of pain and discomfort in the long summer. I will keep coming back to this video for inspiration November through to February when none of us can sleep in the heat. we have a big garden and things grow easily here. abundance of blessings 🙏🤗🌺🏡

That fact doesn't make us "bad" or "fake" or "faithless," it simply reveals that we are human. May the Great I AM wrap you in His arms of love and continually remind you about how precious you are to Him!
Thank you for your honesty and trusting us, your network with being vulnerable. I totally can relate to your current struggle, Lea. I have chronic illness and Lyme disease damage in my bones, joints and brain. We do not have air conditioning here in our little farm house, and these last few months have been so challenging not to mention not sleeping at night. I just go it slow, take one hour and task at a time and find the Father with me as I pre make meals in the mornings when my kitchen is cooler, hang the clothes out on the line, care for the chickens, and do chores around the house. I am exhausted by evening, but still it is a comfort knowing He was right there every small step of the day, and things got done. When our strength is gone, He is ever faithful to be our strength. We can always lean hard upon Him!💕
My worst time is winter. I get depressed more easily due to shorter day light hours here in maine. To coin the phrase " the struggle is real" couldn't be more true dear Lea. Bless you!
Me as well. Raynaud's is bad in winter, pain, lack of sun, lack of vitamin D- it is a struggle indeed! And in the southeast us, it's a much shorter winter season than in Maine!

Our Father in Heaven carries His children through the darkest times being totally omnipresent in our lives. We may not feel His presence, but it’s one of His promises and He cannot lie. I believe God is using your many talents as an artist to touch others drawing them to the Lord. This video touched my heart. I’ve been at the bottom of the mountain for 6 months due to several traumatic events, but I’m trusting the Lord to help carry me on the journey up again. The Father IS faithful to keep His Word. My husband has been praying and waiting for guidance and direction for his job for over a year. His prayers finally shifted from, "Lord, change my circumstances," to "Lord, help me to accept where You have me, and to find peace with Your will." The next day, he got a call with the job offer. The Lord wants our hearts more than our happiness. And when we finally surrendered our shortsighted desires to His desires for us, He granted us peace, AND the job. He gives more abundantly than we could ever ask or imagine 😍 we wept and praised His goodness!! Amen, sweet sister!!! We share very similar stories in our coming to faith. My prayers are with you in this season.

Of how I understand how you feel. I really don’t care for the heat at all. Worse I live in El Paso, Texas and we haven’t had very much rain at all. I love rain and it’s so calming and refreshing as the words of our Savior. I’ve been praying for rain but we haven’t really had much or it’s been so little that the sidewalks dry up before the rain even stops. Trust and surrender, so rough for me too. I am not close to my earthly father but I have been given the gift to feel of the calm and powerful love of God. Multiple times this past year, I have said out loud, " I do not know where I am going. I do not understand this situation. I need help." When I have surrendered this up, I always get some type of answer.& I am always surprised. I had heard many times in the past that God wants us to ask for help. For me, who wanted to control many things, the surrender helped me feel free. Good wishes to all those watching💖
We had 39 degree heat (104 Fahrenheit) here in northern England this week and it almost felt unbearable. Our houses are made of bricks, are carpeted and designed to retain heat and nobody has air conditioning so I felt quite scared about how hot it would get in the house. It reached 31 degrees in the house and thankfully then the heatwave passed and today it's 20 degrees and rain, a huge relief for all of us. People in the UK really downplay the struggles of heat because we mostly have cool weather and crave sun, but having lived and worked in hot countries I know how difficult, exhausting and illness-inducing heat can be. This experience has made me so grateful for the cool climate I live in. I hope things cool down there soon and you feel better. Something that helps me is watching the Townsends and pretending I'm an American pioneer remembering how they survived the heat without air conditioning and adapted to it in various ways.
I know the struggles, they are real. I know my king though, I know he hears your heart, you are His desire, all good gifts come down from the father of heavenly lights. I too am waiting patiently upon on the Lord, we renew our strength. You bless me, thank you for framing it so beautifully.

I’m in coastal Maine and I can’t deal with the humidity and heat, and since having Covid in October and November and being hospitalized til Jan I a. Having an even more difficult summer. I’m so much larger than you are so it surprised me to hear you have difficulty but it assures me that the struggle is real. I love that you pray like I do to the Father . In the early morning . Here in Indiana we just got some much needed rain.. I to have been struggling . My husband is battling cancer , we had to put our cat down , Euthanizing didn’t go well . We had a freezer full of good food go out. And now my rescue nephew dog ( my older sister & husband died tragically in indpls , her 160 pound German shepherd I rescue is getting close to his last days . We’ve had him four nearly 5 years . And yet after I pray I can feel the father‘s blessings on me… We could use a prayer or two said for us! Your birds sound so beautiful. I just discovered this channel. This was a blessing to me. I've certainly been going through a season of struggle. Right now it's the heat. A string of 100° days and I don't have ac. Usually we don't have such a long heat wave here...3 days maybe, not 8. Also a lot of other things. But God is good and He takes good care of me.
I love how you share that you didn't navigate struggle very gracefully in the past...how I feel you there. "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." (Lam 3:22-23). The hymn, "Great is Thy Faithfulness" has been my constant companion over the last few months...you are not alone.
So many stand with you in your faith and truth. I am not of your belief or faith and yet, I have followed you for a couple years. Thank you for your honesty and trusting us, your network with being vulnerable. I totally can relate to your current struggle, Lea. I have chronic illness and Lyme disease damage in my bones, joints and brain. We do not have air conditioning here in our little farm house, and these last few months have been so challenging not to mention not sleeping at night.
I just go it slow, take one hour and task at a time and find the Father with me as I pre make meals in the mornings when my kitchen is cooler, hang the clothes out on the line, care for the chickens, and do chores around the house. I am exhausted by evening, but still it is a comfort knowing He was right there every small step of the day, and things got done. When our strength is gone, He is ever faithful to be our strength. We can always lean hard upon Him!💕
My worst time is winter. I get depressed more easily due to shorter day light hours here in maine. To coin the phrase " the struggle is real" couldn't be more true dear Lea. Bless you!
Me as well. Raynaud's is bad in winter, pain, lack of sun, lack of vitamin D- it is a struggle indeed! And in the southeast us, it's a much shorter winter season than in Maine!

Our Father in Heaven carries His children through the darkest times being totally omnipresent in our lives. We may not feel His presence, but it’s one of His promises and He cannot lie. I believe God is using your many talents as an artist to touch others drawing them to the Lord. This video touched my heart. I’ve been at the bottom of the mountain for 6 months due to several traumatic events, but I’m trusting the Lord to help carry me on the journey up again. I cleaned up my studio and am ready to sit down at my easel again and create because you have inspired me with your sincere words! The Father IS faithful to keep His Word. My husband has been praying and waiting for guidance and direction for his job for over a year. His prayers finally shifted from, "Lord, change my circumstances," to "Lord, help me to accept where You have me, and to find peace with Your will." The next day, he got a call with the job offer. The Lord wants our hearts more than our happiness. And when we finally surrendered our shortsighted desires to His desires for us, He granted us peace, AND the job. He gives more abundantly than we could ever ask or imagine 😍 we wept and praised His goodness!!

Of how I understand how you feel. I really don’t care for the heat at all. Worse I live in El Paso, Texas and we haven’t had very much rain at all. I love rain and it’s so calming and refreshing as the words of our Savior. I’ve been praying for rain but we haven’t really had much or it’s been so little that the sidewalks dry up before the rain even stops. It’s 103 degrees today I prayed so loud for rain my Grandchildren just stared at me I said, I’m calling on him and they said ohhhhh. ~ Janet 😘

Trust and surrender, so rough for me too. I am not close to my earthly father but I have been given the gift to feel of the calm and powerful love of God. Multiple times this past year, I have said out loud, " I do not know where I am going. I do not understand this situation. I need help." When I have surrendered this up, I always get some type of answer.& I am always surprised. I had heard many times in the past that God wants us to ask for help. For me, who wanted to control many things, the surrender helped me feel free.

We had 39 degree heat (104 Fahrenheit) here in northern England this week and it almost felt unbearable. Our houses are made of bricks, are carpeted and designed to retain heat and nobody has air conditioning so I felt quite scared about how hot it would get in the house. It reached 31 degrees in the house and thankfully then the heatwave passed and today it's 20 degrees and rain, a huge relief for all of us. People in the UK really downplay the struggles of heat because we mostly have cool weather and crave sun, but having lived and worked in hot countries I know how difficult, exhausting and illness-inducing heat can be. This experience has made me so grateful for the cool climate I live in. I hope things cool down there soon and you feel better. Something that helps me is watching the Townsends and pretending I'm an American pioneer remembering how they survived the heat without air conditioning and adapted to it in various ways.

I’m in coastal Maine and I can’t deal with the humidity and heat, and since having Covid in October and November and being hospitalized til Jan I a. Having an even more difficult summer. I’m so much larger than you are so it surprised me to hear you have difficulty but it assures me that the struggle is real.

I love that you pray like I do to the Father . In the early morning . Here in Indiana we just got some much needed rain.. I to have been struggling . My husband is battling cancer , we had to put our cat down , Euthanizing didn’t go well . We had a freezer full of good food go out. And now my rescue nephew dog ( my older sister & husband died tragically in indpls , her 160 pound German shepherd I rescue is getting close to his last days . We’ve had him four nearly 5 years . And yet after I pray I can feel the father‘s blessings on me… We could use a prayer or two said for us! Your birds sound so beautiful. I just discovered this channel. This was a blessing to me. I've certainly been going through a season of struggle. Right now it's the heat. A string of 100° days and I don't have ac. Usually we don't have such a long heat wave here...3 days maybe, not 8. Also a lot of other things. But God is good and He takes good care of me.
I love how you share that you didn't navigate struggle very gracefully in the past...how I feel you there. "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." (Lam 3:22-23). The hymn, "Great is Thy Faithfulness" has been my constant companion over the last few months...you are not alone.
