@@clampfan101 I was definitely able to convert a lot of my experience from Dreams into this since the creating part is so similar :) And thank you I appreciate that, more tutorials are coming next week already!
Thank you for publishing it to the world. I barely stand with too-professional tools cause it frustrates me, but this tool brings me joy while creating :D
This is really interesting, I often work with 3D printers (DLP) and I am looking for a software to create models of this kind. It looks really great and the functions are well organized! 😍
Very fun to use actually. My only comment would be the "lag" as I rotate and move around the viewport. I noticed that my GPU is actually working quite a bit during Womping and in other videos their gpu usage is zero so I'm curious what the recommended settings would be for the smoothest experience?
Are there plans to add brushes to build and subtract from the shapes? I feel like that would significantly speed up workflow to create shapes. Thanks for making this!
I like how accessible this is, I'd say I'm a pretty proficient 2D artist but I got frustrated trying to learn blender. The goop concept is super cool and I like how intuitive the whole process is. Is there a way to reduce the number of polygons in a model? I noticed womp models tend to be smooth and blobby but I wanted to make a higher performance, lower poly model.
Happy you are enjoying your time! Womp doesn't work with polygons but is SDF based which allows for the intuitive and goopy workflow :) You can still make super detailed and high resolution stuff if that's what you mean!
Yeah you could absolutely do that and anything except for maybe big worlds or something! Measurements are also possible, our size system is translated to mm
We are constantly working on making the real-time experience better and are also exploring options for a downloadable app (you would need a strong computer though)
Yes it will always be available for free, eventually there will be a subscription that will give you even more options but the standard version will stay completely free :)
@@ranasnaik Eventually we would like to do that as well but it would require a very strong PC since we feature real-time rendering of even reflective materials
@@womp3D - Okay, thanks! I’m only interested in programs that allow for creation within VR, so I’ll look elsewhere and cross my fingers that ANYONE else besides DREAMS allows for that very sensible option. Cheers!
@@hipjoeroflmto4764 - I don’t know what that means, but it sounds… uh… clunky. Would the controls and scene be VR, or just a flatscreen representation off to the side of the VR scene, or would it all be cinema mode? I really want DREAMS type control and interface, but I’m getting the feeling that there’s absolutely nothing comparable on PC. 😕
Tried loading the page up on my Android device and it said it didn't recognize it as a touch device. And then the ui was all bad couldn't see the viewport

cant wait to try this
Love how the light shines on this face in the end 😍 Well done Sakku!!!
Awesome tutorial, I've been using womp for almost two weeks now and it's so much fun, nice friendly community on the discord too.
Saved as favorite to study it for when I have more time to dedicate to this new Adventure.
It's Always a pleasure to follow Sakku's tutorials
great job! Very well put together and pleasing to listen to and watch
I love the negative objects and how good the transparent meterials look
Best believe this is in my playlist👀

We are planning to include spraypainting with brushes into our tools eventually! Also more shapes are to come :)

Just found this website and I have to say it's amazing and thank you for the videos they really do help!

Hey! Is it possible to do a stable 360 tracking shot like you did at 17:10? Thank you very much.
Hi! If you press "Q" in womp, a secret debug menu opens up with a few camera options! This one is "turn".
@@womp3D cool! thank you very much!
Would you recommend using a screen tablet to use womp? i already have one and I've heard screen tablets are good to model with 3d
It does work fairly well, however it's not specifically optimized for specific screen tablets yet
is it posible to make an Stand for a brand here? or it is more for characters? can you put measures?

Does anyone know why when editing does not appear in my laptop the top toolbar where the button to move elements is located?

hi.. i can't find the backdrop
How to blend cube and sphere (3:50)
When adding sphere it separate from cube ?
You add some goop to it. Make sure the primitive you want to blend is on the bottom of the scene list.

Can WOMP be used in VR in the same way DREAMS can? I’m investigating PCVR alternatives to DREAMS, so looking at WOMP first makes sense to me.

As of right now you can export in OBJ, PLY and STL.
