    What a horrible mother as well! I get mad if my husband even disciplines my cats by raising his voice! How does a mom stand by for this?!?! She even said her other daughter was her favorite

      It’s our RIGHT & DUTY to protect ourselves & others, especially children!
      Most people do not want to get involved for fear of retaliation.
      At least these neighbors called the police!
      Why the police did not check out the situation is to be investigated!

    I believe everyone that was involved with this child or called upon to investigate should also be in jail for sometime.I believe this would be a way to make sure people do their jobs.A child that is deceased because of abuse & authorities were called is the responsibility of all involved.
    The state of Florida has passed a law in late 2023 that if a child is S.A. abused they now have the death penalty…(a few more details for the penalty to take place of course) but it’s a law all states hopefully will follow soon.
    I’m hoping laws will be changed for all abused children and the authorities that are responsible for investigating,I know a stiff jail sentence would definitely make a difference for the ‘lazy,incompetent’ CPS workers & police when they investigate/called on such crimes against children

    Cps should not have that name of what it stands for Child Protection Services because they are not protecting at all!!!!!!! Most of the cases I hear about on these children getting the help they need,and that help never comes. 😢Investigate further on the 911 calls about that child and why they never helped Mercedes. Those so called parents both punished for what happened to Mercedes. And to those neighbor’s that called for help. Thank you 🙏 for trying and caring about the well being of this child. You didn’t turn a blind eye and move on as if nothing was terribly odd about what was more than obvious. As a society we need to make a change when we hear something or see something. I will make sure cops come and go inside.

      I listened to the ER bursae and he said when they brought her into the ER she wasn’t breathing and was ashen colored and she had mashed bananas in her mouth so I’m thinking he beat her while she was eating and a bunch of her hair was pulled out in the crime scene photos.

    • @Fern635
      @Fern635 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      They left off halfway through the medical examiner's testimony today. From what I can tell, it looks like the prolonged beatings and physical exertion led to muscle breakdown, which led to a condition called rhabdomyalysis. This, in turn, caused her kidneys to fail, which ultimately caused her death. José set the wheels in motion, Katrina failed to get medical help, and somehow, neither of them is charged with murder.

I get your nervous but you're in a court room every word you say is being heard especially what you heard or witnessed. This witness was not prep'd very well.

    I get so annoyed w people like thT first broad with the inappropriate smiling ans even giggling at times. Also being asked very specific questions and instead only being brief and giving only the answers to what is asked, she volunteers extra info. Did the legal team not prep her? And with those broad shoulders i doubt her voice i and 5 Rd 3
