UFC 268: Usman vs. Covington 2 is an upcoming mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship that will take place on November 6, 2021 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York, United States.
A UFC Welterweight Championship rematch between the current champion Kamaru Usman (also The Ultimate Fighter: American Top Team vs. Blackzilians welterweight winner) and former interim champion Colby Covington is scheduled for the event.Serving as the event headliner, they previously met at UFC 245 in December 2019, where Usman defended his title via fifth-round technical knockout.
A UFC Women's Strawweight Championship rematch between current two-time champion Rose Namajunas and former champion Zhang Weili is expected take place as the co-main event. They previously met at UFC 261, where Namajunas won the title via first-round knockout.
A women’s bantamweight bout between former UFC Women's Featherweight Champion Germaine de Randamie and Irene Aldana was expected to take place at the event.However, de Randamie withdrew in early September due to injury.
Further on the main card, we got the return of 2 top Lightweight fighters.
The former Interm Lightweight champion Justin Gaehtje makes his return against a former title challenger in Michael Chandler.

He doesnt have the title defenses, the dominance, the compeition, the accollades, to compete with Jones or GsP. Everything that Usman has accomplished, GSP or Jones have done it better. Maybe one day, but right now, hes barely scraping top 10

What? Colby worked Usman first fight. U should watch it. Usman faked injuries to get timeouts, a 1 minute breather mid round to regroup is a lot. Colby made a mistake, left mouth open and paid for it. Usman knows that’s the only reason he won. Also knows he can’t knock Colby out. Colby only lost 3 rounds his whole career, got choked out years and years ago, and lost 2/5 to Usman.

If Kamaru has been training the way he's trained for his previous fights, I just don't think Colby is going to win. I just think Kamaru is putting in more correct work than Colby. That's usually the name of the game.

I agree. Still need to see burns vs Covington but from the way it looks Usman is a smidge above colby and colby is a mountain above the rest. It's been a long time since the UFC has had multiple divisions with 2 truly great fighters fighting in the same era and weight class. Now we have multiple. Volk/holloway whittaker/izzy, usman/covington. Everyone of them could be all time greats if their counterparts came 5 years before or after

Woodley got dominated by Usman burns and Covington. For 3 fights in a row woodley was a punching bag. The fight against Vincente he finally came alive and tried to do something but it was too late he was old and his chin failed him.
If Colby works on his head movement he'll win this time .. Colby has the better wrestling and striking but he needs to move that head because of the one thing usman is better at is power ..
