I started a jungle island recently and I found that gyroids make very good decorations. I also made a jungle market with roof top garden, lakeside restaurant, jungle canopy, infinity pool, and dig site. I plan to add ruins too.

I’ve restarted my island for what feels like the hundredth time trying to draw inspiration, & this might have helped. I was gonna stick with Gothcore, but this is way too beautiful
My island's name is Rhuddlan, and is inspired by the names of different towns in Wales. Ive been wanting to shake up my island design for some time (especially considering that my desert design is getting hella pricey!) And I love all of the nature/flora items in the game, so I might try some Junglecore myself!
I know this is a year later but my island name is Tropicana. It's more tropical then jungle themed but I am loving this build! Oranges, palm trees, bamboo and lily's are my go to decorations.
Tysm for all the tips. i recently reset my island bc i hated it and wanted to change themes. my old theme was kidcore and the island was called Jabberwok spelt completely wrong (i was in a danganronpa phase when i started). I just hated it so much. My new island theme is junglecore hence why i watched this video and i called it Zozomu, (miss-spelt) the real word is Nozomu which translates to "hope" in Japanese! I wasn't focused and i entered the name wrong but im happy with it!

this theme is very calming in my eyes, and also i´m trying it out too! my island name for this theme is daydream, just because i love the fact that this is what i do mostly, of my time, plus i associate it with bright colors, rainbows, and summer rain! ^^

My Island is based on Pandora, the World of Avatar. It's junglecore but with blue and purple flowers/plants. There is a human Base at the beginning and some parallels from the movie. I still have so much to do but I think it will look great at the end :D

I named mine dragon nook.. i kinda like nook he seemes nice he does noy force you to pay off your loans ever and his nooklings will buy anything and hes the reason we are on the island. So thayd where the nook came in, the dragon well uh im kinda all about dragons
Oh my gosh! I totally forgot that Isabelle is so judgmental of our islands. 🤣 The weeds are beautiful, so I think sometimes it's a sacrifice you have to decide if you're willing to make. 🤣😅 Thank you so much for watching! I really appreciate it. ☺
How does your junglecore island look so good! (I really like it:) Mine just looks like my grandma’s garage sale! Edit: does this island have 5 stars? If so, how did u manage with the over abundance of trees?
It's entirely up to you and what you think will help your island flow best. 😄 I've seen a lot of jungle islands with their Nook's Cranny on the beach, surrounded by a little fish market. The Able Sister's can also fit nicely on the beach, or if you have a little residential area, then perhaps it could fit well in that space so it's easy to access for your villagers. And for the museum, my personal favorite use of the museum on jungle-themed islands is to surround it with lots of cliffs and ruin items to make it look more like an ancient temple. I hope these ideas help! If you're still struggling with figuring out where to place these buildings, consider designing the parts of your island that you already know you want - rivers, jungles, overlooks, ect. Then, you can see what parts of your island you have left that need filling. The buildings can be a great way to build up filler spaces. 🤗
I'll be the first to admit, my terraforming is AWFUL. Like, non-existent. I've been playing Animal Crossing since Population Growing, so, in my mind, it's like, 'CLIFFS AT BACK ALWAYS!!!" I do need to get over that if I'm going to make my island something worth looking at. Also, how/where do you get patterns, please?

I really wanna do junglecore, but mixed with some sort of medieval pop, sort of like, pirates found the jungle and are taking it over
