- Sears in Oakbrook Center originally opened in 1962 and the store was closing for remodeling back in the Summer of 2017 and it reopen on October 2018, but unfortunately, on April 2019, the store was under under store closure in the store close its doors on April 28, 2019.
like seriously what was the point of remodeling a store one year ago and closing it down just after 6 months of reopening. They probably did the remodel as a capital investment write off.
Hey! I know a location of a still left abandoned Kmart in New Lenox, IL its right next to a very good restaurant. I have never had went near it but i saw it

That’s right! This sears reopen in October 2018 after the remodeling and the Sears in Joliet that’s when they’re closing sale begin 6 months later after they reopened the Oakbrook location, the closing sale began on April 2019
