Marge created the Pentecost service for our church in 1973. Five of us got to dance "The Lord's Prayer" with her, and as she left, she charged me with keeping the group going as a dance choir. That charge continues to echo in my life today, and I am grateful. I just learned of her death last month; she was an inspiration. I'm sure there's a cloud up there somewhere for dancers, and she's on it, hoofing away. RIP (or maybe, dance in peace!?) Marge. Thanks.
I worked with Marge in a show called Five Six Seven Eight Dance. It also starred Sandy Dunkin at Radio City Music Hall in the middle 1980's. She was wonderful to work with and a really lovely lady. It's nice to see this video of her at the age of 91. God bless her. Marge and Gower were my favorite dances growing up and I must watch them dancing in Show Boat. I can watch them over and over again. Thanks for sharing.
