There are 1.5 million people of Indian origin in South Africa but very few that speak any Indian language. The culture is still there when it comes to music and religion. I'm 67 and don't speak any Indian language but faintly understand Tamil and Hindi.

I am from sweet Trinidad and Tobago and although life is very difficult we always had freedom of Hindu and Muslim culture.
