      @Timothy-ns4qn, Thanks for watching and commenting. We still need to figure out if the Stream Trail duffle will be good enough for a top case. Beside carrying stuff when we ride a trail, we want to be able to put away our helmet when we are shopping.

    That black rear rack looks great. I ordered the Honda chrome rear rack the same day I bought my Dax. Wished I knew this was available.

      @davemartinosky9981, Thanks for watching and your comment, much appreciated. Early on, when we first heard that the Dax 125 was coming to the USA, we decided to make an H2C one, similar to the H2C show motorcycles in Thailand. We bought the H2C rear rack before the USA OEM chrome rear carrier was shown in the California photoshoot of the USA Dax about a month before the first Dax arrived in the USA for sale. When we saw the chrome rear carrier, we decided we didn't need it, but then later bought one, just to see what it was and so we could make a video showing all the USA options. We do think that black looks better with the black H2C front and center racks, and the black USA saddlebag mount, but more than that, the top area of the chrome rear carrier is too small to be of much use. The H2C rear rack is a few inches longer, and those inches make a big difference. Bottom line is that we didn't choose the rack based on anything except that it was H2C and we wanted to install all the H2C accessories on this Dax 125. Going forward, the next video will be mostly installing H2C decorations which don't add much functionality, then the H2C under engine guard (skid plate) and service stand mounts which do. Lastly we'll install the carbon fenders and emblems, which will really change the appearance especially in the rear as much of the rear fender is eliminated with the carbon rear fender. We may end up removing the rear saddlebag for no other reason than it isn't H2C.

      @burgmanrainer, Thanks for watching and your kind words, much appreciated. Finished installing the carbon fenders today. The installations will be in the next video.. took us almost two days to do what would have been a three hours job five years ago. Mind isn't as sharp, and eyesight is poor.

    Fantastic installation video. Yes sir, you are ready to go cross country, now. Plenty of storage space and the horn cover is slick looking. Ride safe Vaughn.

      @gustwowheeling7337, Gus, your comments are much appreciated. Today, we installed 14 more items.. 13 H2C accessories and the double pad shifter that comes on the Thai and Japanese Dax 125s. We are bushed.. taping the installations doubles the work and time involved. Installing the under guard took almost three hours, but when you see the edited video, it looks like it took about a 10 minutes. Oofda.. that one was tough. We need 2 more subscribers to reach 3,000... might make it before the end of the year.

      @@gustwowheeling7337 Gus, thanks.. we reached 3,002.. now we have to hope we don't loose three..LOL We usually loose one or two subscribers a week. We just now put up the video installing 13 more H2C accessories for the Dax. It is so long that we decided not fix a few editing mistakes we see in it. It would take almost a full day to re-edit it and put it on TH-cam because of it's length.

    Hello My Friend? Congratulations on your success in reaching 3K Subscribers and may it continue to grow rapidly. I noticed that your content always displays ads, even I think there are a lot of ads. I want to know, what series of GoPro camera do you use? Some of my fellow TH-camr friends also use the action cam but why do their videos on the left and right corners of the video look curved while yours is not. How do you set up your action cam? Hopefully you will also be given the smoothness to create future content.
    Keep up the spirit, my Friend.

      @MancingTanago, Thanks for your comment, much appreciated. When we first started the channel, there were no ads unless the channel was monetized. That changed about a year ago, when TH-cam started putting ads in all videos, even those that are not monetized. We are still not monetized and just make videos as a public service. Here is a video link to a tanago fishing video shot in Orlando. The man doesn't name the stream, and didn't reply to my comment asking what bait is using, but you can see that the bait stays on the hook through many strikes. My biggest problem in tanago fishing is that I have to bait the hook after every strike, and my eyesight is so poor that it takes the fun out of it. Here is that link:
      th-cam.com/video/Ltjcc-S2-Lg/w-d-xo.html
      In this video, he names the bait. It is "Gulp Maggot":

      Here is the bait. I have ordered some, and when it arrives, we will make a tanago video:

      @MancingTanago, Our earlier videos were shot with a Git2 camera with a 90 degree lens. That produced very good 1080P video, with no "fish-eye" distortion. The sides of the frame were not distorted at all. The only problem we had was with wind noise. Using a remote microphone hidden in the motorcycle to reduce wind noise became a problem, and we made many video where we had to spend a lot of time fixing the poor audio quality. Sometimes we had to remake the sound and then edit the sound into the main video. We switched to a GoPro Hero 10 with the "Media Mod" accessory. The color is brighter than the Git2, but there is slight fish-eye distortion at the edges of the video. We look fatter when we are near the side of the frame. Our biggest problem with the GoPro is that it favors the HEVC protocol for most settings. There are only a few settings that produce h.264 output, and the PC we use to edit videos requires h.264 output. That means that we only use one setting on the Hero 10, and all of the other settings are useless. We shot 1080P at 60 frames per second on the Git2, but that setting on a GoPro will produce HVEC files, which are useless to us. So on the GoPro, we use 1080P with 30 frames per second to produce h.264 output. That is the only setting we can use. We also use "horizontal leveling" on the GoPro which is a big help and a big advantage over the Git2, which doesn't have that feature.

    That Dax is growing on me… Thought the Monkey was pretty neat, but the Dax might be even better?

    • @Vintage_Garage
      @Vintage_Garage  13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @Timothy-ns4qn , Thanks for watching and your comment. We are not sure yet. We do like the automatic clutch and heal shifter on the Dax, and with the long seat, it will be easier to dismount with a top case on the rear rack than on a Monkey. All we have so far is test rides on the Dax, but as soon as we finish all the installations on it, we'll make a trail ride up to Goethe State Forest, and that ride should help settle the issue. We have two Monkeys, and perhaps this week, we will get a second Dax 125.
