How is that any different than you typical Willow? The thing with these women is that they are flighty and indecisive. They never make a decision and stick with it, accepting the consequences of it. I won't say that Anna was at wrong in this story. Anna genuinely loved George and also cared for him. She only accepted that marriage proposal for her families sake. But the only thing she did wrong was keeping George as her lover. If she really respect him then she wouldn't have kept him instead she would let him go and start a new life or she could have just told him her whole situation. The fact that she kept is secret from him and also wanted to make him as her plaything proves that she also looked down on him because he's from a poor background. We forget that we humans love each other because of conditions. That's why we called love as a conditional emotion. That also means that Anna loved George because she pitied him and felt bad for him because he was poor. But if George revealed his identity from the very start of their relation they wouldn't be together for this long. Anna would leave him at some point. Again we missed that part that if someone had cheated once they will cheat again in the future and if someone hadn't cheated but shows that she will cheat by her day to day actions then there is a high chance that they will cheat in the future. Anna cheated on George proves that she no longer loves him. That's all.

@digitalyoutuber154 5yrs thought man when she risked her life to shield George that wasn't good time to tell her? No matter how you try to spin he should of said something at least after year 3
Didn’t agree to break up? Yet you were two timing both guys and the guy you talked smack about in your own language thinking he didn’t understood anything little did you know he did understood and he happens to be a powerful man more luxurious than you are.
This is honestly not a great ML he wasn’t completely justified in his anger he’s been lying to to her 5 years. And given he’s from an even more prestigious family he acutely understands the pressure Ana was under. She seems to genuinely love him unlike the various Willows, and if he had been honest with her earlier this whole situation could have been avoided. Her only fault which is a fair one was trying to keep George as a kept man
Well, he didn't really seek retribution, did he? His anger is just him not wanting to be a side thing, understandably. Even if he wasn't lying and he was actually poor (he wasn't anyways, he had a job and was good at it), that would've been unnaceptable regardless.
Did you even watched the video?? Had George told her about himself, Ana would have been much more secretive about her scheme with Makoto. Right from the start Ana was nothing more than a gold-digger in disguise, in fact the only problem I had with MC is that he didn't took action right away and hire someone to observe Ana secretly.
Dude, he's a man whose wealth eclipses Ana's and Makoto's several times over. He obviously lied to protect himself from potential gold diggers. Even if he had told her, Willow still repeatedly disrespected him by letting her friends mock and belittle him.
@@digitalyoutuber154 So what they're both exorbitantly wealthy and Prenups are a thing. I didnt say he had to reveal from jump but 5 years is a crazy long time. Prior to the arranged marriage nonsense all she did wrong was brush off her friends and not vehemently defend him in french b/c she thought he couldnt understand them. if George told her the truth at say year 4 they would have gotten engaged and Makoto would never have entered the picture from the beginning she made it clear she didnt like him and was treating the marriage as a business arrangement.

@@Over-mh3wr Why do you guys keep shaming George for hiding his identity? It's like you've never seen any story about this topic before. He's an absurdly wealthy man working undercover to improve himself before he inherits the family business. Telling people about his identity would just attract a horde of snakes.
@@digitalyoutuber154 In general that logic is very understandable. Hiding your identity as a rich kid to not attract gold diggers make perfect sense. But the reason why it doesn't hold up well here in this context is because Ana didn't really have a reason to good dig. She was also from a prestigious and super rich family as well. So even if his family was more wealthy, hers was still pretty wealthy as well. And waiting a whole five years to finally break the news to her is far too long. It doesn't justify what she did but he isn't justified imo. He was wrong just about as much as she was imo since they both deeply deceived each other.
@@digitalyoutuber154 I understand why he hid his identity but George already found out that the arranged marriage was just forced on Ana because he faked his identity and her family thinks he doesn't fit their status. While Ana did never protect him when her friends mock George since she also believed he was from a troubled poor family and her friends was only stating the truth of what they all believed about him albeit in a condescending and mocking manner. He also never tried to tell her his real identity after his first failed attempt. Doing so would have allowed Ana to dissolve the arranged marriage since his status was way above Makoto's and Ana's family would probably immediately agree with their relationship.
I find these plot so immature for someone whoses suppose to be running groups, he can lie for 5 years pretend to be a sugarbaby, and when the girl has to marry for the best interest for her family and employees, he th rightous one, this plot of the im poor hooking up with rich people is nonsense
Are you bad at understanding? He wasn't a sugar baby, he had a job and was good at it and he also worked hard to make a name for himself without relying on his family which is why he didn't tell her the truth , secondly she wanted the marriage and keep his as her secret lover, do you understand how humiliating that is? If you support that then you're not in the right mind, also she began spending more time with the guy then with him even the nights. What would you do if your bf/gf does that? And she can just go against her family if she loved his THAT MUCH.
@@Tamo876Well flipping said. Couldn't have said it better myself. Some people in this comment section are strange and are looking for any chance they get to make it seem like the male MC is the only one in the wrong. I can agree with them that the MC wasn't in the right because he did pretend to be poor as an "experiment" which is pretty wrong to the female lead imo, but she was definitely in the wrong as well. @@PaulReyes-m7f He lied to protect himself from potential gold diggers. He also took the relationship seriously until she started cheating on him. Plus, he lied about something good and was planning on telling her at some point. They even arranged a date for it. She's the one who decided to secretly marry someone else. And judging by her interactions with Makoto, it wouldn't have been purely a business relationship. George is not in the wrong.
You know, as much as i feel that George's reaction was justified in his sudden and completely nuclear breakup with Ana, i can't help but think that none of this needed to happen. If someone i was in a relationship with took the brunt of an accident to protect me, we're getting married like tomorrow, tops. It doesn't seem like he was waiting on a milestone to reveal his identity, so every constriction felt arbitrary and unnecesary.
That just sounds like you'd marry someone out of guilt/obligation rather than out of love. Besides, he's a wealthy heir of a massive corporate conglomorate. Rushing marriage is never a good thing in these environments.
@digitalyoutuber154 they were together for 4 years at that point. They were clearly in love with each other. It's was neither rushed nor under obligation. I just think if someone's willing to take that kinda hit for me, i'd love them for a lifetime.
Why would you continue to decieve your girlfriend for five whole years? The fact is that he was never poor and Anna had demonstrated deep love for him repeatedly when she thought he was. Then when her parents were pressuring her into an arranged marriage he could have stopped that at any time by revealing the truth. Instead he just destroyed every reminder of their relationship and then bailed on her. She hadn't cheated or fallen out of love with him. All in all George is one acting as the pretentious coquette in this story.
Really? Even if forced by her family she still cheated on him ... Though i do agree that he should've told her his identity way ealier... But well, even with that, she always allowed her friends to insult him as they wished, wether in French or in Chinese(Mandarin or Cantonese, don't know which one this story was written in xD)
Disagree with your giga biased take. Are you forgetting she also deceived him with the arranged marriage to Makoto? She kept lying that she had to leave because of a problem at work and that Makoto was just a family friend who she was having a collaboration with, without ever being honest that the collaboration was the arranged marriage. She had no intention of telling George about this and wanted to just marry Makoto unbeknownst to George while keeping George as a side man unbeknownst to George and her family. That is absolutely disgusting. If George hadn't found out on his own from seeing the wedding invitation and Makoto's taunting, she would have gone through with all of that without ever telling George. And she didn't COMPLETELY fall out of love with George but the key word is "COMPLETELY." Her feelings towards George absolutely began to waver. Her increasing care towards Makoto like in that second car accident where she completely forgot about George and only rushed to protect and care for Makoto. The increasing amount of times she began to spend with him and even the increasing tender affection she started to show him. Even when they were not around family members and it was just her and Makoto alone so there was no reason for her to feel the need to save face and act like that towards Makoto if she truly didn't want to. George definitely wasn't the one in the right in this story but Ana wasn't either. They both deceived each other and were both in the wrong.
Firstly, she did cheat. Becoming more attentive to another man you're secretly marrying instead of the boyfriend you claim you "love" is cheating. Secondly, George had no idea her parents were pressuring her into a marriage. He found out after she already accepted. Furthermore, Ana later dissolves the marriage herself, meaning she actually had a say in everything, meaning she didn't need to marry Makoto at all.

I don't know french, but let me guess. Mi mirage Jorge dut mi amor Mikoto. I think it's close enough to knoe what she said.
She literally tried to give her life to protect him and gave up major business deals to take care of him. I'm not saying she's blameless or completely innocent but had he come clean at say year 3 they probably would be living a happy married life..
@@Dante999000 Did YOU watch the video or know what the term gold-digger means?? she thought he was a penniless man from the boonies yet still professed her love, claimed him as her BF openly, financially supported him for everything and even tried to give her life to save his.
Wao girl shielding 2 man dang how weak are they
Well that was unexpected hahaha
Mc pretending to be a "penniless commoner"?! Bruh. & what, after he reveal his identity, he gonna all of a sudden find a girl who doesn't love him for his $?! Clown was w/ her 5yrs & NEVER met her parents?! Pretty dense for the son of world's wealthiest family. Mc took that treatment & disrespect for "worldly experience"?! Mc was a rich simp pretty much. His gf was gonna marry another guy & he was the side dude 😂 mc was getting ntr the whole 5yrs 🤡
so it was opposite this time huh!
1:11:22 it was at this moment Ana really f***ed up.
meeh ML and Ana. Both lied to each other when if both of them just told the truth to each other then their relationship did not need to end.
Yep this is the most accurate take I've seen. They both lied to each other and are both in the wrong
13:10 howd he think that would go
I find these plot so immature for someone whoses suppose to be running groups, he can lie for 5 years pretend to be a sugarbaby, and when the girl has to marry for the best interest for her family and employees, he th rightous one, this plot of the im poor hooking up with rich people is nonsense
While i agree with you, it's also true that she directly cheated on him...
Her ambiguity with the marriage and her increasing care towards Makoto, not to mention how she only defends the MC when her friends mock him in English (which she knows he can understand) but not when they mock him in French (which she thought he couldn't understand).
@@Over-mh3wr I'm not saying she guiltless from the situation, but to use him as a moral compass is laughable. So they both have horrible judgement and one gets away scot-free. And I love that go against your family line that a lot of people run to. How many actually do that? I'm comment was on the generalized notion that an ML/FL can be so stupid to believe that starting on a lie wouldn't pack some kind of karma
