I was invited to lock down parties of famous people when I was young and hanging out in NYC; they called them that because once you were inside, the property was locked down by security and you could not leave until the next day when they allowed you to leave; once cell phones were a thing (I am sixty now lol) you had to give them up and this was before NDAs; I never went to one because I heard stories.
