The wood filler bit gave me a good chuckle. Is the position of the fret arbitrary? like just a case of getting it as close to the bridge as possible, and then tuning?
Its only the length of the tine that affects tuning, so you could have the bridge 10 inches away but you would need some long metal bits. i think it would also effect the clarity if you made it to long as you need a clean bend on the metal. Also, hey man
