v3 just feels like a generic Nayu + Joey song. It's got some good melodies going, and I like the use of Skid n Pump, but the song itself is just the same tired formula they've been doing for ages now. Same old 808s, same old general composition and pace, same old 17bucks styled section, we only have a minute of the song yet I feel like I can tell EXACTLY how the rest will play out. I prefer v2 because it feels more unique, it takes its time, it really hangs on the slower tempo and each kick drum has you wrapped around the beat's finger. It's steady and calculated, yet is ready to go crazy at any moment, just like the character It's for. Sorry for the essay, I just prefer to actually explain my thoughts beyond "thing good" or "thing bad," it actually gets a discussion going and helps people improve

@@DylanOrSomething I would agree with you if this song didn't follow Faker's structure almost exactly. The overuse of a "faker" song structure with slow bpm and drums with genesis/chiptune instruments is just overused to have any impact anymore. I do agree the 17bucks style can and will become boring if they don't change it soon, but in terms of what is more unique sounding, I would pick v3 over v2 any day of the week. The rhythm and melodies in v3 far outclass this atm for me, especially when this song suffers from something a lot of modern fnf songs have been guilty of, which is repeating the vocal pattern's ending every single time with the root note in between the enemy's and player's sections (The aaaaaaaaa at the end of every turn)
Design wise muto is, just Faker again. There are more than just make then lanky to express someone who's scum hiding it. How about instead he simply just changes how he acts, not physical changes or as much just simply becomes more dangerous via actions not physicallity. Thats all I know atleast maybe you a bette reason why this "muto" should just look like faker's black sun form with a face change.
