Very sadly, the very last competitive match played by a Yugoslavian national side.

Yugoslavia played already without many players from 1990 worldcup.. but still a team much better than austria that also played without toni polster

At the time of this game (November 1991), how was the situation in Yugoslavia, referring to the upcoming outburst of the war etc?

dont know if it was this game or another one where austrian anthem was booed by yugoslav hooligans in austria. yugoslav hooligans were pretty rowdy back then when their national league was good and they had good clubs.

@@riraf6941 That was the last qualifying game, after that it was all over. There was another friendly game against the Netherlands but Yugoslavia as a state didn't exist anymore!

@@Denkooo100 well my friend that day played Yugoslavia in March 1992. 😉😉😉😉 When it was over what about Hadzibegic, Kodro, Bazdarevic, Najdoski, Brnovic and all players without Croats from Croatia and Katanec. Still representing SFR Yugoslavia😉so it is not true that the game against Austria was the last but believe what you want. Videos show the truth, just need to be watched.

@@domainechamblandes2097 Slovenia was state in that time and not part of Yugoslavia anymore. Milanič and Novak played for Partizan in 91/92 season. Bosnia was still part of Yugoslavia in 1991. Don't be so dumb.
